Just looked at the Mods pages, these guys were all active 2 months ago. That means they have been active at least once since the announcement of new mods back in July. If indeed they are doing something, it would be nice of them to comment that they haven't abandoned this page.

It also appears that the newly named Mods all have been active in the last few days except Rattle and Hum.

We’re actively working on it. Draft lists are made and we’re in the fine tuning stage.

tw0handt0uch While I am sorry for bashing you all not doing anything, I probably don't feel as bad as I should because I was salty you all didn't say a word to us until about... months later...
Yah, I don't feel that bad at all now that I think about it.

Very glad to hear that!
Very sad that we couldn't have been noted sooner. Just a heads up every 2-3 weeks letting us that the list is still under construction would help a lot. And, possibly, a spoiler of a kind letting us know at which phase you are atm would be really awesome.
Again, glad to hear the thing is still on. Can't wait to see the overhaul!

tw0handt0uch I apologize for assuming all the mods were inactive, but all signs appeared as if you were, considering the list has not been updated in months and not hearing from any of the mods was discomforting. I hope you can understand why I took the initiative to organize a new list.
I'll leave the cEDH tier list to you guys still if you are in fact updating it, and I'm really glad and relieved to hear that this list isn't dead. If you could keep in mind some of the community thoughts here about design it would be much appreciated. I especially liked enpc's suggestion to use a separate google sheet for a more organized discussion for subjects such as commander archetypes because sorting and tracking would appear to be much cleaner and efficient on that than on this page, and that's something I wouldn't mind helping you guys with. Please try to pop in once in a while and leave a comment or update so we know what's going on, this page has a huge following and we'd like to be kept in the loop of things.
If anyone is still interested, I'm still probably going to end up publishing a general EDH list sorted by color and not at all focused on the competitive nature of the EDH realm to simply serve as a resource for all players who want to explore commanders of certain color combinations and I'll have details about each definitive archetype in the description as well. Just let me know what you guys think and I can make it happen. Cheers all.

The team has worked pretty hard to refactor the list and make it even better than it was. I will start this update post by thanking all of them (tw0handt0uch, ShaperSavant, LabManiac_Sigi you guyz are awesome) and everyone else who participated. Really, thank you for making this community resource even better than it already is.
Now, I wanted to say that the heavy work behind the list is over. The rest of the team took the time to create new divisions for the list (bye-bye numbered tiers) and to rank the commanders by a plethora of new criterions, in order to make sure that they are now all ranked based on the same factors.
The formatting of the list is not the only thing that will change: the description will also be redone. It will include decklists for the most competitive commanders (like it already does), but the description will try to explain a little bit why the commanders and the archetypes they represent are considered competitive.
Apologies for not being more active over here. Work took most of my time in the last months (I started a new job 6 months ago, working on a software for a ski station, and winter is coming soon, so we are in delivery mode now...) and I put Magic aside (haven't played in the last 6 moths...) and completely forgot to keep you guyz updated here. My fault, I apologize.
Thank you all for still following this list. Huge update coming soon, be ready!

let's hope the input of the past months here has been considered and it won't end up being a subjective selection

Personally, I like the changes so far.
You avoided assigning tier numbers explicitly, but IMO this works like a charm. Power level descriptions are neat and you got the most important thing; one can more easily fit their deck into a category and get the feeling for the category from the description. In my opinion, this is clearer and surely will prevent some petty quabbles and solves the half-tiers problem nicely.
Hopefully more lists will be added soon and the commanders' list will get tidied up.
Great works so far, can't wait to see more!

Karona, False God is tier 5 tho... y? Horde of Notions is tier 3, and Karona has more synergy with Oath of Druids combo, like at KOS (Karona Oath Storm)

I also feel like Godo, Bandit Warlord deserves a higher placement than tier 4. I think Godo's interaction with Helm of the Host pushes him up to at least tier 3, but I would argue that tier 2 or 2.5 would be an appropriate placement for him. He's able to tutor for the equipment on his ETB, and either on the next turn or if enough mana is available, equip Helm and attack for infinite combat steps while pulling out other equipment with the tokens like Hammer of Nazahn to equip them immediately. Please reference gtoast99's primer for the deck here.

Placement is not definitive yet. We are still working on it. Things will settle in a near future!

thegigibeast oh I like the new power level categories! I must have been seeing the older page with tier sorting when I commented. I'm really liking what you guys are doing with the list!

The new categories make a lot more sense than numeric tiers with even 0.5 steps. Would be nice to see more example builds listed for the top commanders because agreeing on only one will always be a very subjective decision and constantly double checking if a list is still kept up to date by the owner is a hard task (in the previous list a lot of example decks had already been abandoned by their creators and it was sometimes heavily discussed if they were actually the "best" builds)

We're going to give one sample list for the competitive and above strategies. The description points people to places where they can find more sample lists if that's what they want - both on EDHREC and the decklist database, and on the Discord servers that provide links to the places where those decks are actively being discussed. This list is meant for people to get something functional quickly, and the focus is on playgroup calibration moreso than showcasing individual decklists. Those that want to delve into specific strategies will find the means to do so in the description.

Anafenza, the Foremost seems to be missing completely from the list, running her at the helm of a Karador Reanimator shell, alongside Birthing Pod (since Anafenza can chain into Felidar Guardian, blink Pod then chain into the rest of the combo). I'd argue for her to be in the Mid-Power tier below Karador.

I think Demonlord Belzenlok is a bit more competitive than he's given credit for. While to use him effectively it takes a lot of pieces and set-up as well as deck building restrictions, there are ways to make the combo fairly hard to deal with and I think he's a bit more viable than the other casual commanders. Not saying he's amazing or anything but I think a commander that just wins the game (almost) when you play him I think is at least good enough for mid power.

chaosumbreon87 that's what I meant...it would make sense to use tags like "storm" and then list the possible commanders with example builds and sort them by assumed strength. That would place for example Kess higher than Baral or JVP in that section but it would make it clear which commanders are best in which gameplan. This would make it easier for people to find possible commanders for what they want to play and to choose the best one for that strategy. People could also intentionally go for worse choices then, for example if their meta wouldn't be able to deal with the best build.
