Fellin22 why would they ban tymna when she herself is by no means op? if anything, if tymna thrasios were such a problem, they should not be allowed to be together, tymna alone with another partner is not that strong.

Because tymna gives you a good card draw engine without comboing off, so I think they should ban tymna to make the other partner in the Thrasios, Triton Hero Completely unusable, same thing for Vial Smasher.
June 20, 2019 5:04 p.m.
Thrasios Does not Become unusable, the other partner does if they ban Tymna and Vial Smasher. This is because the other orzhov and radkos partners are bad.

There are some commanders in "Competitive" that need be swapped out with some cards from "High Power." Ramos and Jodah are just not very good. I think Dralnu and Lord Windgrace can probably come up. While I was the primary creator behind the original Dralnu lists, so my opinion is biased, I have played him a fair bit recently, and he felt very good. Some of the new cards from WAR have given the deck a bit more ability to gain value while slowing opponents early on in the game, and that has made a difference.
Lord Windgrace is a deck I've seen played a fair bit by Azurel, and he has done pretty well with it as well. I haven't played the deck (being more of a champion of Xira Arien, which I still don't think belongs next to decks like Zurgo, but different discussion), but I've seen it in action a couple times, and it does powerful things.
Also, the First Sliver strongly belongs in "High Power."

@buildingadeck - The First Sliver has replaced General Tazri and Niv-Mizzet Reborn as the premier 5 color Food Chain commander for competitive. It's not going anywhere any time soon unless The RC decides to ban Food Chain.

That's not what I would've expected, but sure. To me, it looks worse than Tazri because paying 5 different colors is worse than paying one, but I suppose I haven't really seen it in play.

@buildingadeck Sliver being WUBRG to cast doesn't matter because going off with food chain makes infinite Mana of all colors.

I used to be able to click on a commander and it would show a deck list for that commander. Now when I click on the commander, it just shows the card and no more deck lists. Is there a setting that I need to turn on or off? Thanks!

I clicked on Kess, and the list for Kess Storm showed up. Now it's not showing up. I know this isn't a big deal. But I was stoked to see links to cEDH decks.

Yeah, it's been a while since I've played against Food Chain guys. My bad. That said, the rest of what I said was completely ignored. There are some truly bad commanders listed as competitive while some good ones remain in High Powered.

Might be a bit bias but, Edgar Markov (Storm/Fastcombo) is still sitting at a 26.7% winrate on the cEDH discord :)))), it is probably around the power level of Godo, mizzix, e.c.t. at very least. And probably be worth considering for the competitive tier of the list. https://www.reddit.com/r/CompetitiveEDH/comments/alomvi/symphony_of_the_knight_primer/ https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/31-01-19-symphony-of-the-knight/
Both a deck list and writeup are there. Any comments let me know. :)

Please put the modern horizon commanders in their place at waiting list and don’t put something like urza in tier one even though he is probably less playable than narset in tier 1 as well as the first sliver isn’t really that good since most slivers are 3 cost it’s effect isn’t huge on your game actually

Should you shift Jodah, Archmage Eternal , God-Eternal Kefnet , and Scion of the Ur-Dragon down a tier or something? There's been plenty of time for a deck to have been brewed for any of them. Plus I seriously doubt any of those three stack up to Teferi.
June 27, 2019 1:59 a.m.
Gilady089 as stated before The First Sliver is a better combo piece for Food Chain then both Niv-Mizzet Reborn or General Tazri He belongs there.
Food chain First sliver combo Show
About Urza, Lord High Artificer . As of the state if he should belong in tier 1 is up for debate but you can not deny that he's is better then Teferi, Temporal Archmage not saying that Teferi is bad, Urza, Lord High Artificer is simple faster. Don't Make the same mistake I did , do your research or read the comments before this one.

The Brago list seems to be a bit out of date, given the recent printing of Tribute Mage , which can fetch Strionic Resonator straight from the library.
June 27, 2019 6:58 a.m.
Well, Urza is just better positioned in this current meta, regardless of speed. Having no creatures used to be a good thing in Teferi, but now that's a death sentence in a Tymna defined meta. Urza himself blocks Tymna and so does his token which is arguably more important, even if Urza is weaker to targeted removal.

Is there anywhere i can go to receive help in making one of my decks more competitive/near max potential?

But would that just put them in a tier where they can beat ALL decks in that tier?

Commander_JAR How are we justifying their placement that high if they lack a competitively viable list? Jodah, Archmage Eternal in particular seems pretty impotent when compared to everyone else in his tier. He just has access to 5 cmc being his cap if you can generate the colors and 5 colors. Pretty lame.

I can only assume there are competitive decks but nobody's taking the time to post it here. The dude said to look up Average Dragon for high power and up.
Anyways, I don't know much about building a deck around Jodah, but I have done a decent amount of research for Scion. There are some dangerous combos you can build Scion around, and some of them are infinite damage combos. So I can see it being above High Power. The main issue is getting it out and keeping it on the field to get the combos going.

Gilady089 Look at the list for the first sliver. It says food chain not sliver tribal. Food chain is a combo deck that has nothing to do with slivers. The First Sliver is just the newest way to flip your deck over with infinite mana and food chain.
