After looking longer the list i linked is out of date and would need some work, but it still seems like a good starting place.

Hey just as a helpful note for going forward if you wrap a link in an HTML anchor tag it will come up as a clickable link. Here's how: HTML A tag. Just helpful when posting links to decks.

Wheres the love for the almighty Angus Mackenzie ? he can shut down most decks after all :) additionally he can be found in most political decks i find.most decks based on aggro and commander damage are stopped. and with access to bant colours surely would make him at least tier 3

Colonel_Kink: you're assuming that most decks win through combat damage :P

Kataki, War's Wage shuts down artifact-based decks (Sharuum and most of the decks that run mana ramp), but, like Angus, it's dependent on the commander being out for survival. Remove Angus for one combat and you can 'Hoof to victory. Hold your ramp until the last minute, play them out, Then kill Kataki and go off the next turn. Those decks can be a pain and can shut down some high tier decks, but they lack consistency and decent matchups against everyone else.

implying every blue deck doesn't run Stifle. anyway, im going to be making a gaddock teeg hb deck for us to try. and i was thinking about using a wishboard for meta specific cards with Golden Wish

Not every U deck runs Stifle though, stifle is a meta card. It only hits some combos and if it's a repeatable effect like Mind Over Matter or whatever it doesn't do anything aside from basically reading "target player discards a card" in the case of MOM.
The things that it stops are things like Persist/undying combos and deadeye's soulbond but those effects are expensive and not present in every meta.

Hotcake_Gotsyrup - Golden Wish in a Gaddock Teeg deck...WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?! But yeah, that seems decent. I would suggest a Living Wish package as well, but that would be stupid, as those are the kinds of cards you would want in a HB deck.

Hotcake_Gotsyrup - Poe's Law, bro. Look it up. Also, you answered your own Recruiter question.

if i build it and find i need some extra bears i will definitely put them in and split my wish board, plus some enchantment creatures might not warrant a full spot, but i doubt it. Spirit of the Labyrinth is pretty good. obvious worldy and enlightened tutors. is new thallia good enough?

merrowMania i knew about poe's, but i don't like using emojis. recruiter of the gaurd is too similar a name, but this was a good mistake.

It doesn't have to be an emoji. You could end with "(joke)," "(joking)," or "jk." You could also use Italics to input sarcasm as well.

Can you even use wishes in EDH? I was always told there is no sideboard in EDH so they can only get cards exiled in the game

Hotcake_Gotsyrup says... #21
i thought the no sideboards thing was just because of how the format is played, there aren't game twos and stuff. i'm sure you can still have one.

cEDH allows sideboards, while EDH sideboards require the consent of the playgroup.
August 24, 2016 11:57 a.m.
Sadly cEDH doesn't allow sideboards either. We follow all of Commander's "Official" rules, which do not specify allowing a SB currently. Some tournaments will house rule a 10 or 15 card sideboard, but as a rule of thumb, you won't have the luxury. Nonetheless, it's helpful to carry a small group of cards that help against certain matchups and metas (Extract against Zur, Prossh, and a few other decks, Nihil Spellbomb for reanimator-heavy metas, etc). That way you can quickly tweak decks to reflect the group you'll be playing with.

Off of the official website:
Players may bring a 10 card sideboard in addition to their 99 cards and 1 Commander. After Commanders are announced, players have 3 minutes to make 1-for-1 substitutions to their deck. In groups whose members all use sideboards, they can also be used to wish for cards that are outside the game.
