@Epochalyptik actually im pretty sure devotiontoblue is correct, another turn is different from extra turns, i remember the casters when watching pro-tour theros were talking about it a while back, although i might be mis-remembering

All cards that say "Another turn" have been errata'd to say "extra turn".

I would add Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas . Excellent utility in a Sharuum the Hegemon Commander since first and second abilities make artifact EDH lethal.

@Baycer if you check gatherer Capture of Jingzhou has been errata to Take an extra turn after this one. So, no it will not work.

I think Mana Web deserves a spot on here. It is broken.

@Baycer:
From the Comprehensive Rulebook:
Extra Turn
A turn created by an effect of a spell or ability. See rule 500.7. For rules about extra turns in a multiplayer game using the shared team turns option, see 805.8. For rules about extra turns in a Grand Melee game, see rule 807.4.
From Capture of Jingzhou
's Oracle Text:
Take an extra turn after this one.
@LittleBlueHero: There would need to be some more discussion. Predator, Flagship seems a bit clunky to be considered a staple or a power card. Maybe for the budget lists
@Lordslyver66: Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas isn't that strong. It's only worth running in a dedicated artifact deck, which means it's too limited to be considered a general staple or power card.

Cards I have in any deck with the appropriate colors: Cremate , Quicken , Withered Wretch and Voidmage Husher . I don't know if others play these as much, but they should be staples.

@Epochalyptik oops, sorry, should have checked the oracle text first, i must have been mis-remembering, my bad.
also what about Three Dreams or is it too limiting to an aura deck, it has worked wonders in my Derevi, Empyrial Tactician deck fetching what auras i need when i need them.

this is rlly good :) The only thing I can think of is the new elspeth

@akivain: Cremate and Quicken aren't good enough or prolific enough to warrant inclusion. Withered Wretch and Voidmage Husher are fringe cards, but I can add them because they're particularly good answers. Anger was also added.
@Baycer: Three Dreams is certainly a good card. Even though it performs best in aura-heavy decks, it can still be useful in other decks.
@gaarakazekage: I'm not sold on Elspeth, Sun's Champion . The first ability is alright, but it doesn't really have as much impact in EDH. The -3 is strong. The ult takes a while to get to considering you need to wait four turns to activate it.

Epochalyptik, what about Underworld Dreams ... while it's been a staple of similar decks as the ones being brewed with nekusar, it's also been in chaos decks, group hug, and other decks that want to keep draw in check. nekusar has just made it jump to the fore front.

@gufymike: I'm not a huge fan of it myself, but given its popularity as an answer to draw strategies or as an element in punisher decks, I suppose I can include it.

I think Ancient Craving might be a nice addition for this list ;)

@rathalos3000: I added Ancient Craving , but I'm less impressed by Concentrate . Maybe this is a bit biased, but blue has much better options for draw. Blue "Draw [insert fixed number] card(s)" spells are comparatively underwhelming in light of that fact.

Underworld Connections is good card draw for black.

Bloodghast is an excellent black card, and feeds multiple engines.

I saw all the primordials except Sylvan Primordial . Since it was released, I have yet to see almost any green EDH decks without it... if that doesn't constitute a staple, I don't know what does.

I totally agree with gentlemansquid, Sylvan Primordial is an evil card. Some people in my playgroup wanna see this card banned xD

I think Hellkite Overlord is a card for every jund deck, he is just awesome

@rathalos3000: Underworld Connections is kind of underwhelming in EDH when you consider there are cards like Phyrexian Arena and Necropotence . I could add it to the budget list, but I'm not so sure about this one.
@Saithor: Added.
@gentlemansquid & rathalos3000: Sylvan Primordial is already in the list.
@rathalos3000: Hellkite Overlord is just a beater. It doesn't offer enough to be considered a staple or a power card.

Its an evil beater ;) Cant beaters be staple? :)

rathalos3000 Underworld Connections is similar to Phyrexian Arena , save the fact that you need a land to enchant and you need to tap the land for the draw.

I'd like to make a case for Predator, Flagship . Its the kind of card I will throw in almost any EDH deck.
It can help you sneak in General damage and makes almost any creature a killable target (sans hexproof and shroud and Indestructible of course).
Any mono colored deck wants it because it is off color kill but every deck can benefit from it really. It may be a bit costly for hypercompetitive but still has its uses. Just my 2 cents. It sees a lot of play in my area, not sure about everywhere else.
