No Vraska the Unseen? She's a more expensive permanent removal than most, but with an upside. This could be drawing an attacker away from you, killing more attackers if they wait a turn, or getting to use the cannon again if she's protected for two turns. Occasionally she'll steal a game too. Usually with the help of Doubling Season though.

I've noticed it's been at least a year since you've updated this. I don't know about taking comments into consideration, but there's been a few sets released since you've last updated. Personally, I would love just an updated version, with new sets. :D (Not saying there's a whole bunch of staples in newer sets, just want to have them all in one place.)

I feel like the combo of Warstorm Surge and Rampaging Baloths should be on the list.

Not sure if it's been mentioned by someone else but it's not on the list, Descend upon the Sinful is just strictly better Final Judgement which I think earns it a place on this list.

List includes Battle for Zendikar
Oath of the Gatewatch and following sets are not yet included
And if you don't play by house rules Prophet of Kruphix is banned in EDH since Jan-18-2016
Prophet of Kruphix ban

These lists are so useful but are never going to be updated. Someone should copy these lists and keep them updated. I'd do it myself, but I've been playing for only one year and don't feel I have the expertise necessary to do so.

I would say Black Sun Zenith is an amazing board wipe, it also gets around hexproof, shroud, and indestructible, which are all pretty common in EDH

Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary has always been on the banned list as long as I knew. Did he come off recently?

Since Parallel Lives is on there why not Anointed Procession?

Probably not, because you can make an argument for and against most cards that have been printed. It would be easier to just go to just look up other decks with the same commander and see what other people do.

Every month I come to this page expecting updates and they do not happen. Now with these new mediators would be a good time to catch up. I would be very happy to take care of it if I could.

What criteria must a card meet for it to be considered a "staple" of EDH?

What about Reconnaissance: a single White mana, paid once, to save attacking creatures from unexpected blockers, or to untap creatures in that sweet spot right after damage has been dealt but before combat ends, for the rest of the match (or until the enchantment gets removed, whichever comes first)? Sign me up!
