I'm still updating this one. It'll be "ready" in maybe ten minutes.

Archmage Ascension ? Or is it not worth it except for in a few types of decks?

Also Entomb . For graveyard shenanigans.

I second Diabolic Revelation . It has been absolutely invaluable in assembling combos.

December 22, 2013 1:33 a.m.

Archmage Ascension is too slow and vulnerable. It isn't even worth including in EDH decks because it takes forever to go off.

I don't really like Diabolic Revelation , especially in combo decks, because it costs way too much. I'll add it for the casual decks, but it isn't good outside of casual.

If Vedalken AEthermage is on the list, I think Homing Sliver should be too.

December 22, 2013 10:55 p.m.

I can see the argument for Homing Sliver , but Vedalken AEthermage is much, much better. Homing Sliver is only really playable in a very small demographic of decks - namely, in tribal Sliver decks or in Changeling-heavy decks. Vedalken AEthermage searches for one of the most relevant creature types in EDH, and it finds some very powerful cards.

I suppose I could include Homing Sliver anyway because it is technically a tutor.

Signal the Clans , I mean I guess it's also a bit of a chaos card, but it gets you 1 of 3 things.

How about Jarad's Orders ? It's like somebody stapled a slightly-less-good Entomb to a slightly-less-good Natural Order .

Epochalyptik what are your top 10 tutors out of these? I know it varies by what you're trying to do with the deck but just in general.

All harbinger like Elvish Harbinger are missing. Its usefull because you can fetch for another tutoring creature like Fierce Empath 'or Fauna Shaman to get creature of another creature type if necessary.

As a RUG player I'm surprised not to see Intuition here. Guided Passage less so, but I think it also qualifies?

Intuition was banned in French Ban List....but I don't care.
