Commander: Karona, False God

This was inspired by Epochalyptik's List of EDH Staples and Power Cards. Check it out- It's helped me more than once. Seeing that, I wanted to create a list of inexpensive power cards that are more or less just as usable as the more expensive rares and mythics. Epochalyptik's list has powerful cards, of course- but they are all quite expensive. No item on this list will be more than $2, and most of them will be far less.

I will update this as new sets are released. I am open to suggestions as to more items to add that I may have missed (Provided they aren't new cards, ie released in the last set). Upvotes and comments are appreciated!

I will not be delving into non utility lands, as most of the dual lands don't have cheaper alternatives (or they're obvious, like refuges). Speaking of lands, while I will be putting it on the list, I do not approve of casual or widespread land destruction. You may disagree, which is your perogative- I will not fight you over this.

An Interesting Note: There is an extremely effective lockdown that can be built out of cards purely from this list. Rule of Law/Arcane Laboratory/Eidolon of Rhetoric and Knowledge Pool/Possibility Storm combo so that no player can cast spells. Rule of Law states that each player can cast only one spell per turn. When he or she does, it's exiled with Knowledge pool, you choose another spell, and cast it. Oh wait, you can only cast one spell per turn.
