i still used natures claim at the recent gpt, but my friend used natural state and was really upset about it with all the worships running around.
anyone have any other experiences?
as a not-infect player running one in the SB id love to ditch the 4 life

Enchantments and artifacts that are win-cons in a deck tend to be 4 cmc or higher.

Tivadar of Thorn is amazing too. I play primarily on MTGO and run into a lot of mono red goblins and this card makes them cry.

is there a better spell that can replace Disenchant in a mono white deck that doesn't always have double white turn 2/3?

Femme_Fatale says... #7

Oh right, goblins is a thing now isn't it? Well. Just run Auriok Champion and have fun. Or even Kor Firewalker. Your choice. I'll put it in though.

There are no 1 mana white Disenchants. There is Wear / Tear and that is your best bet.

Added Anguished Unmaking and Declaration in Stone.

Maybe since Sword of the Meek is now unbanned, something like Revoke Existence that exiles the Sowrd could do it?

Players will just run Shattering Blow.

April 4, 2016 3:22 p.m.

With Ancestral Vision, I think Redirect is now a sideboard option.

I think players would rather just use Negate since that is also very useful against infect and tron.

How about Kozilek's Return?

April 29, 2016 1:32 p.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #16

Volcanic Fallout is still the better option snotice. And it is cheaper.

Unless someone can present me an example beyond the mana cost. Currently all decks that would run the fallout can produce double R at turn 3. Tron runs Pyroclasm.

Just a suggestion but it would be REALLY helpful if you sorted then by what decks they come in against

Femme_Fatale says... #19

Now that is a suggestion for the future. Right now I'm knee deep in colour and font correction EMA spoilers.

Are there some reasons no one mentioned Ratchet Bomb ?

July 1, 2016 10:43 a.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #22

Because Engineered Explosives is the better option Ratchet Bomb takes WAY too long to use, and you don't have that time in modern.

July 2, 2016 5:15 a.m.

But Ratchet Bomb is virtually the only answer , , & has to troublesome enchantments.. & has virtually no answers to artifacts. Also it does terrible things to Tokens..

Edit: and Engineered Explosives is worthless in mono-colored decks..

Personally, I love to use Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver in the side against most Jund decks. Fits well in most mill\control decks and is awesome when you exile a Tarmogoyf.

Jund can have a decent amount of cheap creatures and reanimate and I love using Ashiok to counter any recursion and maybe even steal a Fulminator Mage.

This is from personal preference and experience. I have seen other deck lists run Ashiok in the sideboard before. Let me know what you think.

July 19, 2016 9:53 a.m. Edited.

I can second the inclusion of Ratchet Bomb as a Modern SB card. I often see them in the SB of 8-rack decks, and I've seen them pop up in various grixis lists as well. It definitely fits in this list better than some of the other cards here....
