It is likely twin will play Cryptic Command before they go off to get around Illness in the Ranks.

Twin has been cutting down on Cryptic Command a lot lately though ChiefBell. Lists can contain anywhere from 0-2 C-mands.

What? As SB material?
As far as I know it was only used in GP OK City Lantern Control. Am I missing something?

If I'm side boarding Blood Moon do I need to side in Sowing Salt too?

No Nef. Though I don't particularly like Blood Moon too much against Tron unless you are an aggro deck. Also, I now just removed Sowing Salt because we have Crumble to Dust.

Yeah I had forgotten the name of Crumble to Dust and this is for a skred red deck so I am mainboarding a couple moons and siding the others. Thanks femme

I saw a skred deck run Shattering Blow in the side board of a deck. Why do you think it was run over one of the other red artifact destruction spells?

Doesn't Skred also splash white on occasion Nef? It would most likely be for affinity, as numerous affinity builds have things that get by destroy effects.
A link to the deck in question would be nice.

From the more popular skred decks I've only seen mono red. I also just started looking into it recently though. The link is here
The list is about a year old.

Shattering Blow is run because "exile" can be important

Problem is is that it is sorcery. I'd rather run Geth's Verdict.

I'm mildly surprised you don't like Self-Inflicted Wound. Sure Deathmark IS solid, and has it's advantages. However the damage from Wound is relevant, and more importantly, it gives a huge middle-finger to Bogles..

You might need to work on your mana base here, mono black sources make it hard to cast all these sweet spells lol

What decks does Celestial Purge come in against? Really trying to fine tune one of my sideboards.

I personally run Jund Burn and use Self-Inflicted Wound in the SB in Modern. It takes out goyfs and Kor Firewalkers pretty well. I'd include it since I've seen other lists run it too.

Nice list of sideboard cards. I honestly would have never played/known about many of these sideboard cards had it not been for this. Thanks for the list. +1

Drown in Sorrow is great against affinity if you survive up to three mana, unless +1/+1 counter shenanigans have already started.

@Nef I include Celestial Purge in my SB sometimes bc Liliana is just that bad. Of course, it hits a lot of other relevant targets (Dark Confidant, Splinter Twin, Eidolon of the Great Revel, Blood Moon, etc.) as a bonus i.e. I don't make a sideboard w that card bc of that list. I put it in my SB because of Lili.

The biggest problem is that tokens isn't actually a heavily seen archetype, so you don't want to be dwindling down your sideboard for just a fringe deck. Slaughter Games isn't as good against twin as Illness in the Ranks is, because Twin is going grixis which is giving them access to discard. In this, the same arguments apply.
I swore I put Crumble to Dust in here long ago ...
