very nice deck... pure and simple just like an infect deck supposed to be (not like mine:D) the only thing: instead of naturalize use nature's claim. you don't care if your opponent gains life, and you can use it on your own artifacts as well... like a necropede equipped with livewire lash:D

IF you guys like this deck, up it to where it belongs, if not tell me why so I can make it better. Thanks!

consider switching out dragons claw for dryad's favor. It is GREAT for those pesky elf decks and is only drop one instead of drop two for the canopy cover (not that i don't like canopy cover...). plus, in my own limited experience, elf decks don't have much removal so you should be good there.

Ok, I like this build more than mine, only thing I would change is swapping out the Giant Growth s for card:Prey's Vengeance. They have rebound so next turn the can trigger your lash again.

I loved your idea initially. The way I play though, giving the opponent one more turn is Fatal. So, I use giant growth when I am going for the win. I have no intention of going one more round if I don't need too :)

Well I've done the math, and for the majority of the times even with the vengeance it will still add up to 10 on turn 4. But I guess that just means its personal preference on those two. Have you thought of using Tangle Angler ? He seems to be good at getting creatures through their defense by making everything block him but his cost is higher and it takes precious mana to use his ability so I've had mixed feelings when I used him.

I used to play with livewire lash. It's awesome and so bloody versatile. You play a creature with infect, hand it the lash, play 1x distortion strike and 1x vampire's bite and your opponent is just... gone. No matter what the initial power of that creature was.

i wonder: if you are playing putrefax why corpse cur is not in your deck? its an awesome card and in my opinion one of the best infect cards. i know its four mana but i think it might help you out in the long run its definitely helped me out of a few tight spots.
November 26, 2010 11:36 p.m.
corpse cur costs way too much. it's more efficient to put more of the useful creatures (which you would take back) in your deck, or if you're using black put liliana (like i do is Love-in-fect or rise from the grave in. and mimic vat is always a possibility if you have enough.

why wall of tanglecord, are you looking to stop gobz at the price of losing to vamps or creature control.

No Corpse Cur, because I don't plan to replay Putrefax . He should succeed first try. By the time I play it, the opponent should be over 5 counters. The Wall is because I didn't want to use a play set of Putrefax . That's just to much hope for mana with only 20 land. I Just got a set of Mimic Vats, but the dropping an infect creature every turn isn't that well worth it to me.

I've found that the Vats are most useful when the game gets longer and drawn out. Then you have a utility attacker or blocker. They might be a decent sideboard card against a control deck or something.

I love the Flight Spellbomb in those infect decks. But I guess that's a thing of taste.

Canopy Cover does the same thing, and gives the creature shroud. That's why I run Canopy Cover , instead of Flight Spellbomb .

The only thing the spellbomb has over the cover is the card draw, but the cover makes up for that with its continuous usage.

I would need the blue to get that Card Draw, which would slow me down too much. I did swap out the Tel-Jilad Fallen 's for card:Autumn's Veil. I figured since people will run blue counter, and vamps against me, this card could come in handy. just gotta Livewire Lash my creature and watch them try to kill it, as I protect it. LOL.

im liking the automens viel because i only ever have problems with control, and vamp decks

I don't have landfall as much as you do in your version. Giant Growth is more consistent.

Playtested your build and its awesome! +1 from me.
This is so getting sleeved up to piss my friends off. (I'll give them a lashing!)
Since I cant think of anything to contribute to the cards in the deck I suppose ill suggest a different name like...
Infectious (or Pathogenic) Lashing.

Sadly the name Infectious Lashing is taken, as you can see.

hows yours doing ive been playing alot online and getting stopped by control decks
December 1, 2010 7:42 p.m.
and what do you think about two more walls over the dragon claws in sideboard? for red deck wins. i fell like in the long runthe walls hold up more then gaining small amounts of life.

I like this build. If you didn't already know if a spell targets your livewired creature, even if it doesnt resolve, it still triggers the ability. so if your creature is attacking and they say doomblade it, you can use vines of vastwood and both doomblade and vines will both trigger livewire's ability but your creature will still live.
