thats whats nice about a B/G build for infect are things like memoricide and duress. can clean out some of those annoying control and burn spells. kills your speed and consistency, not sure if its worth it.

This game is a waste of time and money. it is an addiction and all who play this game should stop and realize how much is going to waste. Your life doesn't need to be based on addictions. God is out there. Find him in something other than cardboard crack and put your time into something worthwhile

Something worthwhile, like religious trolling.
I've had a lot of mana problems with this deck, so I've replaced the 4 Tel-Jilad Fallen with 2 Llanowar Elves and 2 Overgrown Battlements. Have you found mana to be a problem?

I never found an issue with mana. I always start with 2 mana, and there are only 6 cards in the entire deck you can't play with only 2 mana. So as long as you see two land your set to get rolling.

have you guys had any trouble with lack of removal? i've never tested this deck but it looks pretty good... the only change i might make would be to splash black for doom blade

i run an infect deck with no removal, and its not an issue. Either its over in the first few turns or they are to busy playing defense to really need to worry about it.

just a thought but Shuko + Livewire Lash game winner. Infinite damage.

Nope, sure isn't. It's an abilty. You must cast spells on to the creature using the Livewire Lash .

is it just me or are the hands in the artwork for Shuko wrong?
December 3, 2010 10:43 p.m.

yeah the hands are wrong. I ran this deck against some control decks and got crushed, horribly. Not a great choice if people are running any kind of u/r u/b or u/w control decks. At my local FNM they all run Gideon Koth and Jace and I got wrecked
December 4, 2010 4 p.m.
Looks pretty solid, i found the answer to control is more pumps..if anything i would side ground swell because u will most likely use it turn 3 or 4 where you drop a land any way. other than that nice build.
December 4, 2010 5:40 p.m.
yea i got crushed with my version last night. went 1-2. lost to a knight deck with control, and elf delf that crushed me 4th turn both times.

I am having issues with Control as well. That's why I made LiveWired Infection 2.0 Black Edition Which is a black version, allowing me more means to side in things to handle control better while still working off the same basic premise. The biggest drawback is the lack of Canopy Cover , but the Plague Stinger along with Hand of the Praetors seemed almost worth running it. Still debating. Those of you who ran this, what do you think we can do to fight blue/white control here?

Putrefax went sideboard, and I brought 2 more Wall of Tanglecord s in it's place. I found drawing a wall to be a huge help in slowing down the damage until I can kill.

I have a u/g infect deck and i'm planning on throwing in four walls for that purpose.

Seriously considering adding card:Dryad's Favor to the Sideboard against Ramp and Elves. Removing the Withstand Death . Thoughts?
December 5, 2010 12:35 a.m.
Yea I'm thinking the same with the dryads as well that was my biggest problem
December 5, 2010 1:22 a.m.
I'm almost thinking of taking Out putrefax in all because think about it now adays you are Almost always Playng ramp, vamp, control, or something out of the ordinary which u never really have problems with. I feel the sideboard will cure most if u take out the putrefax for dryads. That will solve almost all decks answerrs

Well i say take out withstand death, his vines, canopy covers and and pump spells should give him the survivability he needs. I had em sideboarded and rarely used them.
December 5, 2010 2:32 a.m.
I really like this deck. Using this as a template I made one with green and black cards that I owned, but I've since obtained all of these cards so I think I'll run this.
What cards would you drop out 2nd round to make room for sideboarded cards?
tristamicus says... #1
What I have considered posting was my build where I main board 2 more Wall of Tanglecord 's, and side board 3 Putrefax 's. The walls are a bigger help against RDW's. but not by much. I also was going to sub out the 3 claws for 3 fogs as well, just to buy time. I haven't really found a card I like to use against RDW's yet in this build.
