clayperce Warstorm Surge is a great card, but it's a little bit of a do nothing considering it's cost, and how small the Insect tokens are... I feel like for 1 Mana more, I'd be more inclined to run Vicious Shadows to deter board wipes. Thanks for the support and suggestion though.

I've considered Coastal Piracy but didn't include it due to space reasons. It's still a possibility if other cards fail to perform though... I may cut Whirlpool Drake for it at some point.

+1 for the name. How about Shared Discovery? It's a sorcery speed Ancestral Recall, and you'll certainly have enough creatures to tap for the cost, not to mention getting 3 creatures back. Oh and also you DRAW 3 CARDS.

I understand that The Locust God will make X 1/1's with Enter the Infinite, but wouldn't you want to play Laboratory Maniac just in case someone kills all ur locusts?

I had lab maniac at one point, but I cutting due to not really wanting to rely on it. Testing and Time will tell one way or the other

I'm wondering why you didnt put either of the Niv-Mizzet's in, specfically Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind

I did have Niv-Mizzet in the deck at first but cut it for Mindwrack Liege instead for the combat buffs. The deck is still a work in progress so who knows if a Niv-Mizzet makes it back in at some point.

Have you considered Dragonshift? Overloaded with your hasty Locusts mid attack to Quadruple the damage.

Dragonshift is cute... not sure if I need it though... It's very high CMC-wise
