Everyone says that Living Lore is a strictly EDH card. I say NAY! Lving Lore is going to change the meta! At least it will give you a fun deck to play at your kitchen table or will let you frustrate an opponent or two at FNM.

Trying to keep it budget for everyone out there but obviously we can upgrade the land bases with Polluted Delta and Temple of Deceit, sub in Thoughtsieze and Hero's Downfall. Dig Through Time is the money card that I think is absolutely necessary, but a playset is only around $20. Skip lunch one day.

This is obviously a WIP.

The goal is to get Living Lore out and exile Temporal Trespass, Unmake the Graves or Treasure Cruise. Unmake the Graves in particular gives you great value as your 5/5 can be sacced and then instantly put back in youur hand along with a second one from the graveyard.

Living Lore + Aqueous Form let's you live the dream and swing, unblockable with a potential 11/11.

Temporal Trespass gives us added value and can let you sneak in for lethal if your opponent is unprepared.

Bloodsoaked Champion is an aggro annoyance that helps put early pressure. Disciple of Deceit helps us fill the yard to prepare for Living Lore and can swap out a late Duress for an Aqueous Form.

Sideboard is WIP

Most excellent concept. I'll bet with some tweaking this could be an awesome deck.

Shambling Attendants and/or Stormtide Leviathan can help you get Dig Through Time or Treasure Cruise out (via untapping Disciple of Deceit), and then you can grab them back with Unmake the Graves to repeat the process (or delve them out if not needed).

PlanetEarth: The Disciple of Deceit synergy definitely needs some tweaking. It's potentially one of the more powerful effects of the deck, essentially letting you tutor and pitch a card in the yard for Living Lore. Stormtide Leviathan is beastly, but it may be entirely too slow for this format. Shambling Attendants is better due to delve and a 3/5 deathtouch is nothing to sneer at.

darkblur: Dead Drop is a really good idea, especially against non-token decks, but at that point, Temporal Trespass gives an extra point of power and toughness and it's effect can close out the game easily.

In other news, Ultimate Price and Dissolve may need to get moved to the sideboard for a maindeck Bident of Thassa or completely substitute Dissolve for Negate since we really just need to dodge removal.

Point well taken. I was thinking of Stormtide Leviathan mainly as a tutor for your 8-drops. You're right that as a boardplay Shambling Attendants is a better fit though. In your playtesting, how clunky was the combo?
