Doesn't seem too bad.

I would suggest removing Edric, Spymaster of Trest ; since you are mainly going to be attacking with a single creature, you won't get a whole lot of use out of him.

One card that you probably need/want is Dueling Grounds . You might also try adding some good walls; Wall of Frost and Sunscape Familiar would be dandy. Murkfiend Liege would also be pretty good in there. Steel of the Godhead is a good enchantment to have, and Winds of Rath is an awesome fieldwipe that may likely save some of your creatures.

Also, there is no need for Fuel for the Cause . Instead you might want Spell Crumple /Hinder to deal with other commanders, or Diplomatic Immunity to protect yours/your primary attacker.

I really like what you have. Rafiq if boss and I win with him often, if you want you can check my build out at Opposition / subdual tokens, It's slightly different than yours, I don't buff creatures with enchantments, but maybe you can find some insight. Good luck.

thanks for the help everyone.

Fuel for the Cause was in for some depletion lands, i removed them for more plains to make emeria work, forgot to remove fuel also. will fix that tomorrow morning after work.

Edric, Spymaster of Trest , while not optimal still nets me 1 or 2 extra cards per turn, and provides another body for Sublime Archangel to give exalted to. I may remove him later as I aquire the other cards that were suggested.

Every Rafiq deck needs to run at least a few ways to help make sure their one attacker gets through. It's too hard to try and keep -all- your creatures, while keeping their board clear to just swing. I'd definitely consider Artful Dodge , and Distortion Strike , and Sleep for getting your attacker through. Also Rogue's Passage

Also consider Lightning Greaves and/or Swiftfoot Boots as a way to be able to drop Rafiq and get that swing in, also the greaves and Champion's Helm help so you can actually get more than one attack phase out of Rafiq's double strike before he gets nuked in the face.

Your creatures curve pretty high also. You might consider a couple lower CMC creatures that will still help the overall strategy. Dauntless Escort is efficient for his CMC and gets you through a boardwipe (the weakness of Exalted is that you have to overextend), Hunted Phantasm is pretty solid too, 4 unblockable power and beefy toughness for only 3. Knotvine Paladin is a 2-drop that functionally gives all your other creatures exalted if he is the one attacking.

Thanks for the suggestions and feedback. I dont have the greaves boots or helm yet. But I will add them in as soon as I acquire them. For cheaper creatures I added in Mr Traft and the Knotvine. Not sure if I have the escort, need to do more searching.

Tolsimir Wolfblood could help beef your creatures up a bit, also, similar to Murkfiend Liege .

+1, good deck.

I really like where this deck is going. I wish i had rafiq so i could put my stioc angel in an edh... I do have some suggestions though, just things that I noticed to maybe help you streamline the deck a bit.

Geist of saint traft can never have exalted effect him, I would take him out and put tolsimir wolfblood in. If you can't have exalted on a card it might as well just give a straight up +1 to everything.

Also, you only have10 exalted cards In this whole deck, I realize Sublime archangel gives all your other creatures a exalted, however, that is a pretty big card to Ned in order to make the deck really do anything. I would suggest that if a card does not have exalted on it, Then it's existence in this deck needs to be questioned. None of your artifacts give it. You do have worldly tutor so you can grab sublime archangel but what happens when she dies?

Also, do you find that you get mana screwed a lot? You don't seem to have a lot of fetch lands from either creatures, instants, sorceries, or even land cards.

As far as the enchants go, I would actually have more auras if at all possible, if you are short exalted cards you should be buffing the one or two creatures you have on the battlefield as much as possible. Keep the exalted sovereigns of lost alara.

Just doing a search here yields 26 exalted cards in color for you. Even an exalted land.

Geist is affected by exalted. then angel is put into play attacking, not declared an attacker. So with the geist you actually get 2 creatures swinging and 1 with the exalted triggers.

I havent been land screwed yet. I took a lot of the fetches out in favor of more plains to get Emeria, The Sky Ruin to activate. Which also leads me to answer your about what happens if a creature dies. i can pull out emeria then copy it with Vesuva and Thespian's Stage and then return 3 creatures to the battlefield each upkeep.(this is best case scenario of course)

I do plan on adding Tolsimir as soon as i can get my hands on him along with Murkfiend Liege

Have you instead thought of droppin the Aura's for equipment instead? Since they stay around even if the creature leaves you don't end up losing a lot of cards at one time to a simple Doom Blade , which I imagine would happen a lot in an exalted deck.

Similarly, you could keep the aura theme, and play cards like Auramancer , Open the Vaults , Retether and such.

I have thought about it. Im still on the fence. if i drop the enchants i can lose the sovereings and add more swords for protection.

Stonehewer Giant is a fantastic Equipment tutor for EDH... even when Rafiq isn't out, you can just attack vigilantly with the Giant and then activate the ability to attach the equipment to the Giant himself. Guaranteed to shock an opponent who isn't ready for it!

Some of the Living Weapons are great, Batterskull being the best of them.

Wow i cant believe I forgot about the living weapons. They fix 2 problems i feel i have with this deck. Low equipment count and low creature count.

Haha yeah. Something I thought of just now is Armillary Sphere for ramping.

May 6, 2013 5:35 p.m.

Steelshaper's Gift , Basilisk Collar , Bladed Pinions , Magebane Armor . Sword of Vengeance , Trailblazer's Boots .

All these cards work with your Sun Tits since even if they are destroyed, he can bring 'em back, and in EDH, there are usually a lot of nonbasic lands played so Trailblazer's Boots will force people to waste artifact destruction that they'd have used on something else.

thanks for the suggestions. I was just looking at the Magebane Armor earlier today. I have the sword, boots, pinions and collar. I will need to do some searching to see if i have the gift. If not its just 1 more card to try to trade for

Ravages of War , Cataclysm and Mana Vortex are three more mass LD spells in your colors, though ravages is really expensive. Moving to red would give you a lot more options in that department.

I would also recommend the fetches in your colors, Flooded Strand , Windswept Heath , Misty Rainforest , Polluted Delta , Scalding Tarn , Wooded Foothills , Verdant Catacombs , Arid Mesa , and Marsh Flats . I'm assuming you can afford them due to the ABUR duals.

Also, Kiyomaro, First to Stand , Soramaro, First to Dream , Maro , Aeon Chronicler and Masumaro, First to Live would all enhance your maro theme.
