I playtested my Im Gonna Sing the Doom Song Now! deck against this like you asked, the result was usually in your favor. Massacre Wurm being the most common means to my demise, of course my draws did not see, to be working in my favor, I never once got any of my removal, playtested ~6 games. Nevertheless im inclined to say this deck works out pretty well. It has a lot of versatility. +1

Can you please stop spamming this deck everywhere? It's on like half the decks I've looked at today.

Yeah glen your right i guess i did get a little carried away...lol...btw did you test it? Thanks a lot penumbra...i am getting the same results at my local FNM...it's casual though and i haven't been able to play it at the larger FNM yet. Massacre wurm really does make this deck tick...i need some side board help though

It looks rather smart. Your creature base is excellent, but I think you need to make full use of the ETB abilities - so Mimic Vat is a must here. Either Acidic Slime , Massacre Wurm , or Wurmcoil Engine are fantastic examples to put under the vat - and let's not forget my very favourite, Phyrexian Metamorph - you can't go wrong with him.
+1 for a deck with great potential (but you should advertise it in a more constructive way, my friend)
Incidentally, as you are eager for playtests, see how you fair against my refined deck (it was standard, don't be scared of the legacy - it only goes as far back as Rise of the Eldrazi - and it is for one card)

Hey take a look at my deck, it's very similar, might give you some ideas: Heartless Vat
I tested massacre worm and found that I hated the fact that he lost the fight to titans and got chumped by everything!
I second the above posters suggestion of Phyrexian Metamorph, it's so versitile and potentially free (mana-wise)

Ikr? Phyrexian Metamorph is a beast...there's nothing better then watching your opponents face when they are trying to solve a Wurmcoil Engine and you copy it...lol

I did a quick playtest of only 3 hands, so take this advice with a grain of salt:
I found the deck to have too much land and not enough card drawing effects or creature hate / control to slow my opponent. I frequently found myself ending my turn with loads of untapped mana.
I'm not sure what the best fix is. I'd like to see ever so slightly less land (maybe only 23 instead of 25, since you have the Rampant Growth and Solemn Simulacrum in there). Then maybe a couple more Dismember , Distress , card:Geth's Verdict, if you want to go the creature and control route, or card:Tezzeret's Gambit if you want to get some card draw in there without adding blue (admittedly, other than card:Black Sun's Zenith you wouldn't get much benefit from the proliferation).
I like the idea of the deck though. It just needs to be a little faster, a little tighter somehow. Can't quite put my finger on it.

I agree with the faster and tighter, but im not sure yet what that could be.

ratchet and black sun surely help a lot... Shouldn't have a problem.
You could always add some spot removal for some more early destruction.

That's a really a good idea, and so i've added Dismember to the main board.
Great suggestion, thank you

I'd personally go with a mixture of Doom Blade and Go for the Throat myself. By turn 3 your ratchet bombs and black sun's zenith will be active and able to take down many one drops. next turn they can deal with two drops.
You need the spot removal for quick decks if you need it at all and to me losing 2 to 4 life to kill a quick attacker that will die to ratchet bomb or black sun the next turn or so seems counter productive.

Great point there...i was just thinking Tragic Slip wasn't always good enough. I'll probably do 4x Go for the Throat due to zombies all over my meta.

Probably a decent move. Tragic slip isn't bad though. Most quick attackers have 1 toughness, it also deals with inkmoth where GFTT doesn't.
Late game tragic is a great card for dealing with titans off of a black sun or something.

its a pretty cool deck! it reminds me of a beast deck, just goes to show how there's other ways to pull out the fatties sooner, i think its nice, and i havent seen a mana ramp and heartless summoning, its making me want to experiment with it +1!
