I have definitely had trouble with other decks that nearly always lose, but with this one, it's 100%!

I recommend running 0 drop creatures like Ornithopter and Memnite so you can still lose with only Slaughter Pact turn 1

But... But... Memnite is a 20 turn clock!!!! That can win!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kitteninabiscuit is right with Slaughter Pact. It has to have a target to be cast. I'd recommend one Ornithopter, ya know, for the sweet combo.

Wise choice on dropping the Growth Chamber... it really helps the budget.

I knew it was only a matter of time before someone suggested Storm Crow, and I will have to refuse. Storm Crow is just such a powerful card, both with the 20 turn clock, and with the 99% chance they'll concede just from seeing it.
Also as previously stated, all suggestions will be appreciated and ignored, and since I have failed to do this so far, I will have to start implementing it :P

WOOOT! Watch me die. One of my faves. Don't forget Gitaxian Probe and Street Wraith to help assist.

um..........what is the point of this deck? I am not seeing how this deck is so damn awesome.
March 9, 2017 9:04 p.m.
ticked-off-squirrel did you not see the Storm Crow? It's deadly!

krackhour a......1/2 flyer? I can reach into my blue spares and almost anything I grab will be better than it.
and survey said: Welkin Tern

ticked-off-squirrel, dooood Welkin Tern is much too powerful for this particular deck!

krackhour and Storm Crow is not? it's the same card. same mana cost, only a switched power and toughness with a restriction on blocking. and is cheaper. I mean I guess Triton Shorestalker and Invisible Stalker are better. or you could go with Kraken Hatchling or even a Sigiled Starfish

Are you kidding? It halves the clock set by Storm Crow. Your super bird would kill someone in ten turns. That would be way too broken, it's best to stick with something this deck can handle.
March 10, 2017 1:27 a.m.
Hex is right. Welkin Tern is a horrible card, And it has no sure fire way of letting you lose the game. I'm fairly sure ticked-off-squirrel has never seen a Storm Crow in play, otherwise he would have immense respect for so powerful a card.
The goal in including 1 Storm Crow, is that your opponent will try conceding in response, but you can counter that concede by conceding on your own, therefore you lose, and that is the whole point of this deck.

whatever. I don't understand this deck and I don't understand any of you.

This deck is already great at losing, but have you considered Simian Spirit Guide to help cheat out Storm Crow if we haven't already secured the loss?
March 13, 2017 2:34 a.m.
bvowles, there are 2 Problems:a) It puts mana in your mana pool, big no-no b) Do you see what it will do to the budget? I will also have to disrupt the mana ratio too much, it is a good suggestion, but also one that is denied. :P

I'd prolly get rid of most of the land except red, throw in Lotus Petal, Simian Spirit Guide and either or both Final Fortune / Last Chance. Street Wraith and Gitaxian Probe so you can cycle to the much needed pacts on your first turn. It doesn't really matter you'll more than likely get a pact on the first 7 or a mulligan. GG - you win! Great way to mess with people : )
March 13, 2017 6:05 p.m.
Storm Crow is so op, it's a great idea to force the concede allowing you to respond with conceding. I love this deck.
March 13, 2017 9:26 p.m.
Serum Powder can give you more consistency through mulligans. Seems like this deck really needs a Pact on turn 1 or else it will just lose.

I tell you what, I've spent way more on decks that seem to consistently lose but never this fast!
