Long overdue log of alterations to Lost Hope 2.
It has changed a lot without being logged. I noticed a problem that it was not swarming as much as it used to due to subbing in so many human creatures that had zombie affects but not zombies themselves, thereby unable to trigger Diregraf Colossus or get buffed by Diregraf Captain. I attempted to put in graveyard pulling such as Ever After to try and get around the problem, but haven't tried it yet before I took it back out for the new Hour of Eternity. I hate exiling my creatures (hence removing
Skaab Goliath
and
Havengul Runebinder
), but I'm hoping it might be more effective in the long run. Could potentially make big
Rancid Rats
among other things. And as great as it is to have two Eliminate the Competitions, my draw has been too unlucky with getting them both and no mana and or creatures to safely sacrifice. So one removed. I also am cursed to never win when I play Graf Harvest first turn, so I am going to probably sub Lord of the Accursed in the near future. I also never seem to draw
Convolute
or have the open mana to cast it, so again I'm trying to refocus my efforts to hope my creatures can buff and swarm fast enough I won't need to counter. If I find I need the counter, I will probably put in a Dispel to guard against opponent counters. I may also sub
Dismal Backwater
with more active special lands such as Mortuary Mire.
