I designed this deck to allow myself to summon many defenders until I can get Axebane Guardian out and use Door to Nothingness to kill my opponents.

The main advantage of this deck is the sheer amount of draw that you can pull and the amount of mana generation that you can produce, ensuring that you will be able to play whatever you draw. Once Genesis Wave is cast (with upwards of 10 for X since you can produce so much mana), the odds are that a Door to Nothingness will land in the battlefield, and you will have everything you need to kill your opponent.

Some mana fixing cards have also been added so that there are multiple ways to get the mana you need to use Door to Nothingness.

A friend made a defender deck and I am making this as a way to show him how I would make my own defender deck.
