This deck is not mine!

This deck is Christopher Lou's deck "Enchantress". It took first place at starcitygames.com legacy open on 1/3/2010.

Most likely I'll ever build a better deck than this one, but I still want to build my own legacy enchantress/enchantment-focused deck and I figured this would be a good place to start.

Even though this isin't my deck, I would still love comments. I would like to talk about the deck with anyone interested in the concept/build. So fire away!

One thing I don't understand about this deck is why there are so many 1x and 2x cards but no way to tutor them except for a 1x Enlightened Tutor. The only thing I can think of is that all the card draw allows you to get away with the ratios listed and still achieve your tutoring ends. I.e., you either draw into your 1x and 2x's because of the insane amount of card draw, or you at least draw into your 1x tutor.

I was just playtesting it and the card draw is very fast, so you definitely don't have a problem with not drawing into a card and/or a tutor. Enlightened Tutor and Sterling Grove are the tutors.

Plus, massive card draw leads to frequent discarding. However, that much discarding makes Replenish very powerful. It makes Replenish a bit of a tutor and a card draw, since the graveyard will hit the battlefield with a ton of enchantments all at once. And if you've discarded Oblivion Ring and Runed Halo, you got yourself some control.
