Lovecraftian themed casual deck based around (in terms of flavour) Undead Alchemist, Unsummon, Index (for that sweet mad cultist looking dude reading a powerful tome), curse of the Bloody Tome, Grimoire of the Dead (both because tomes are so prominent in the Cthulhu Mythos) and Kraken Hatchling (because, along with Encrust they represent the sea without having to get merfolk). Wrexial, the Risen Deep represents Cthulhu.

The idea is to start building up with Diregraf Ghouls and Gravecrawlers, maybe a Kraken Hatchling and use Undead Alchemist to start milling, along with Curse of the Bloody Tome. Dread Slaver helps feed Undead Alchemist's first ability as it produces Zombies.

Wrexial, the Risen Deep gets the opponent's cards to work against him in a flavorful way. Lorthos is in the sideboard as it's much closer to Cthulhu as far as the flavour text goes. Not the best reason to choose a card but it's a cool card to have int his deck.

Not based on any Mythos story, just a collection of mad scientists dealing with the undead trying to awake Cthulhu through a game of Magic, the Gathering.

The sidedeck needs a lot of work but for now it's stuff I want to try out.
