welcome to the treefolk deck. im still not totally sure on the deck, might come get and update after i have played it enough...
key cards and their synergy:
Generetes card that get played for free by Leaf-Crowned Elder.
you shuold keep in mind that the card above will be listed as 4x and 3x, and the rest of the deck has many answers and snowball potentiel that can be accesed easely depending on situation and matchup - and sideboard.
you find answers in the deck with the card Treefolk Harbinger + Congregation at Dawn :
-it allows you to find solutions in creatures like: Woodfall Primus + Wickerbough Elder - which all synergies well with Momentary Blink, which has a flashback cost that can be paid by Sylvan Caryatid.
-On top of this, the card Unstoppable Ash, it removes a creature from the game while its alive. should it die the removed creature comes back... then pick a one of those comboes from above... Harbinger(search libary), Primus(remove + its presist counter), Kalonian(another huge token), Wickerbough(it gives it back its -1/-1 counter for further removal)... u get the point. This whole idea is why Momentary Blink is in the deck.
also with Orchard Warden.. you can blink Unstoppable Ash whick gives 5 life, plus the removed treefolk's thoughness... plus the effect from the removed treefolk
but all this is playing the deck from behind after a rough start...
what you really want with this deck is:
you usually find Leaf-Crowned Elder ASAP with Treefolk Harbinger or Congregation at Dawn for early ramp. Then rely on the heavy creatures with Doran, the Siege Tower and Unstoppable Ash early, and start going for the Leaf-Crowned Elder combo. when playin a snowbally hand, then use Congegation at Dawn to find Leaf-Crowned Elder, but if u already have him then place these creatures in this order:
- Earlygame: 1xUnstoppable Ash + 1xDoran + 1 Timber/removal
- Midgame: 2xTimber Protecter and 1 Doran/Unstoppable Ash depends which u already have, or keep the last pick for a creature with removal option.
-Shout out to these synergies, Timber Protector + Armageddon = ROFL... Damnation is also an option, but you tend to have the biggest creatures on the board, so its usually not the best option, but hey, if you play vs something where it would help, find them in sideboard and surprise opponent next game :)
-Sideboard, the card i usually take out for second game to find better options for the given matchup + the card i often find
take out:: 3x Momentary Blink, 2x Primitive Etchings, 1x Kalonian Twingrove, 1x Everbark Shaman
swap in:: 2x Spring Cleaning, 2x Vexing Shusher, 2x Spellskite, 2x Steely Resolve
