Luxuria... aka. Lust; all in all this deck is HOT! Based on Kiln Fiend and Chandra's Spitfire . CMC burn spells increase creature's power and control the field or lower your opponent's life... all at the same time.

THROW ONION INTO SACRIFICIAL PYRE

Perfect Strategy: Short Match

Perfect Strategy: Longer Matches

Card Descriptions:

  • Assault Strobe: This acts is a finisher paired with Kiln Fiend or Chandra's Spitfire. Usually not worth the 4x copies in the deck: 3x is enough.
  • Breath of Darigaaz: The card that makes this deck mandatorily Legacy. Specially useful in multiplayer when paired with Chandra's Spitfire. Just try not to kill yourself. In case you want to turn this into Modern, an Earthquake will do.
  • Burst Lightning : A Shock that can grow when you are flooded with mana? Yes please, and the instant speed saves matches sometimes.
  • Chandra's Spitfire : The flying answer to a weenie deck, a Stormtide Leviathan or a full board of land critters. The downside is the conditions that trigger the ability: direct damage instead of casting. Thankfully in this deck that shouldn't be an issue. Can be replaced with Monastery Swiftspear but that's up to each person.
  • Chandra, the Firebrand: Hot. Red. Easy to cast. All of the abilities mix well with this deck. The hard part is keeping her alive long enough to trigger her ultimate, but when it works, it's GG.
  • Forked Bolt : Llanowar Elves's bane. Use this as a sweeper in the first turns to clear the field and/or prevent ramping and combos.
  • Kiln Fiend: The main critter of this deck. You don't want this guy to hit the GY. In combination with Assault Strobe and 2 other 1CMC spells it's Game Over by turn 3.
  • Lightning Bolt: Nothing much to say about the good ol' Bolt, except that I recommend it to be used more as a finisher than in the early game, but it depends.
  • Quest for Pure Flame: Nothing says "Red" better than doubling a Miracle-casted Thunderous Wrath, followed by a Ligthning Bolt, Shard Volley and swinging a 10/2 Kiln Fiend. It hurts. A lot.
  • Reverberate: This card means chaos. The very slim chance of getting this and Thunderous Wrath together worth the wait sometimes. It also mixes well with Searing Blaze, Lightning Bolt and a kicked Breath of Darigaaz.
  • Searing Blaze : Red landfall perfection. This clears a path for the creatures and deals a fair amount of damage to the opponent. Can't complain about the design.
  • Shard Volley: Latest addition. In late game, a mountain more or less makes no difference. 3 damage points do. Just don't use it in the first or second turn Please.
  • Thunderous Wrath : SURPRISE MOTHERF****R! 5 damage points. Straight. To. The. Face. Having 1 mountain open by your draw phase can be a very interesting tactic to inspire fear and pseudo-control. If this card never appears, don't worry: there are plenty of other Lightning Bolts to use.
