Utilizes Burn at the Stake with goblin mobs to burn out opponents - uses mostly tokens, and some burn control for supplement.
The original build ran Goblin Arsonist over Doomed Traveler, but I ended up going with the latter because I could use them to block and still have a creature left over for my big burn move later in the game. Attended Knight is the three drop over other token producers like Midnight Haunting or Lingering Souls because she puts out the same number of creatures for an equivalent amount of mana (I wouldn't be able to use the flashback on linger or I would go with it) and it puts out a 2/2's instead of 1/1's, which can shore up my defenses to repel attacks, the knight is especially good for this because of her first strike.0 Devil's Play and Pillar of Flame are good spells, and can cover my bases on spot removal or squeeze out a little bit of extra damage if I need it. Battle Hymn could be useful on 4'th turn when i may have as many as 5 creatures on the field to bump me up a few mana and get me some extra creatures for turn five, or, on turn five it could let me drop an extra 2 drop for 2 creatures and 6 extra damage, or, if I'm behind the mana curve throughout the game, it can help me reach my end-game without 5 lands on the field. Rally the Peasants was a game-night addition that was intended as a space filler until I could get all the cards together to finish the deck off proper (it was standing in for Vexing Devil), which is no longer in the deck) which proved surprisingly effective, allowing me to bump up my blocker's power to kill a big attacker, or, if I failed to pull out a Burn at the Stake, could work effectively with the mobs put out by the token spells to put a little bit of "ambush damage" on the 1/1s that my opponents would let me get through thinking 'no biggie, it's 1 damage'. Adding four damage to each of my attackers after the opponent had decided not to block actually pulled about as many kills as Burn at the Stake, so I think these are now official, play-tested additions.
-For the record, Lynch Mob (Kill it with Fire) took First at it's seminal FNM, I'm quite proud of it.
(Edited: to reflect that it has not been Standard Legal for several years)
