T1: Summon
Young Wolf
for protection; Block with it all you want. It dies and becomes another 1/1 anyway.
T2: Summon
Wandering Wolf
to keep opponent from chump blocking with weenies.
T3: Summon
Borderland Ranger
and get some land on the battlefield. (+1 Land)
T4: Cast
Ranger's Path
(+2 Land [7 Total])
T5: Summon
Wolfir Silverheart
and Soulbound to
Wandering Wolf
making Silverheart an 8/8 and the Wanderer a 6/5 and making any creature with power less than six unable to block it. 3 Mana; Summon Borderland Ranger + Ranger's Path
and bring out 1 or 2 more land. ;)
T6: Cast
Howl of the Night Pack
summoning 10-11 2/2 Wolf tokens on the battlefield. You have two mana to play with to cast Might of the Masses + Primal Bellow
. Either works great at this point.
T7: At this point you have 10 Land to play with as long as the Gods favor you. Cast Overrun + Raised by Wolves
and devour your enemy.
10-11 Tokens; 5/5 Trample,
Silverheart; 11/11 Trample,
Wanderer; 9/8 Trample,
2 Rangers; 5/5 Trample.
Goodluck....
This is my very favorite deck. It works beautifully and my wolves are guaranteed. No refunds....
Sideboard Option:
Witchstalker
makes an excellent replacement for Briarpack Alpha + Master of the Wild Hunt
if your creatures become targeted or you're playing a U/B deck. Cheap and Hexproof.
Budget: If you're on a serious budget you can remove
Master of the Wild Hunt
; They each go for $12 a piece so I wouldn't blame you for removing them. Without him this deck is practically pennies (13 to be exact). Although they are fun, and the inspiration for this deck in the first place. Along with
Howl of the Night Pack
. So dirty.....
