Strive for blood, glory and riches in the arena!

This deck uses fight effects, in conjunction with sacrifice and death triggers, to put our opponents on the back foot and press every single advantage. Lure effects are the gravy on top. Wipe their whole board and swing in again! Pump up Maarika and overrun their creatures, leaving them scrambling to recover. The neat thing is that the majority of fight effects are at sorcery speed, allowing you to take full advantage of Maarika being indestructible on your turn - to say nothing of boardwipes like Blasphemous Act, Mandate of Abbadon, and Worldslayer - the latter of which can easily be used to close out a game if it connects - as Maarika and Worldslayer will both survive, and you can run roughshod over your opponents as they struggle to recover. The brutal gladiator truly lives up to her moniker!

That said, this deck is still a bit of a work in progress. I'm wanting to get ahold of things like Chandra's Ignition, as well as more cards that deal with Treasures - a prizefighter has to do something with her winnings, after all... Check back soon!
