The deck isn't expenive or do I miss something?

Yeah, it's not very expensive -- It's a nice alternative to the super expensive modern decks out there. Cheap and cheerful.

you might want to throw in 1 or 2 utility lands, like Treetop Village or Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx

Thrun, the Last Troll would also give you a great sideboard card against the control decks.

I personally run 21 lands just cause dungrove and scooze are both so land hungry, but it really just depends on your testing and deck.

In Stompy, there's a line of thought that says you either run Dungrove Elder or you run Treetop Village, usually as two-ofs. The old build did have a pair of Villages and a Nykthos, but it was a bit of a dead draw. I prefer having the elders right now, but it's something I'm still working out.

As for Thrun, I finally have one! Sideboarded.

Hello there, have you considered a Collected Company ? Maybe 2 copies would be fine for suprising end step coming finishers, what do you think ?

I'm not sold on CC as a finisher -- Sure, it'd work in the deck since the majority of stuff is 2CMC and under, but you should be able to aggro out before you need a finisher. That, and I'd rather save 4 mana for a pair of kicked Vastwoods.

Not saying that it isn't a good idea in theory, but testing is another matter. CC is potentially really strong in Allies though.

OMFG, ROFL. When I first saw this I was like well this doesn't look to bad, seems pritty competitive. and then I watched the video XD. The only problem I have is that you mainboarded Dryad Militant witch isn't bad but jest no.

I definitely suggest putting Collected Company in there as a two or three of. It is your much needed finishing draw. As a two of, I would remove a Rancor and an Aspect of Hydra. As a three of, I would remove a Rancor and two Aspect of Hydras. Aspect of Hydra is nice and all, but there's too much of a chance for it to be nothing more than a Giant Growth.

Dryad Militant stops Snapcaster Mage and lower Tarmogoyf's power quite a bit ProxyTester, and is too weak for midrange and twin players to bolt.

Oh, that's smart. I never thought of that

I've gone back and forth with 4 Dryad Militant main deck in my Mono-G deck, then I moved them to the sideboard, then I binned them entirely. That being said, my meta was light on Snapcasters and Storm, so do what you will.

Also, Llanowar Elves + Predator Ooze + Rancor is a combination that many decks struggle to beat if they don't draw the right kind of removal fast enough. It is a bit slower, but against many decks it provides a steady source of damage or a wall that they can't attack into.

I think you might be right about Collected Company -- Not to take away the credit from my_key

Sure, a lot of the stuff I want is 3CMC but if they're not already out when I cast CC, I'm in trouble.

Oh wait, I'm a boob -- CC does 3CMC, lol

Two of straight in.

You should pull 3-4 basic forests for Overgrown Tomb -- it' still a forest as far as Dungrove is concerned, but it can ease the pain from Dismember

It's a sound idea, but the plan is to go full ham aggro -- The tomb is still a shockland and kind of negates the life it'd save me with dismember.

I could always go for Woodland Cemetery though. No shock and it's only bad on the first turn.

I love Collected Company. Pet card for me. I would try to cut a couple of spells for a couple more creatures to maximize your chances at a double hit. Couple more Elders are good, or I would look to add Kitchen Finks. Helps your avatar plan a bit.

Woodland Cemetery isn't a forest Skulloelegy.
