Commander: Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver // Signature Spell: Maddening Cacophony

Goal of the Deck

Control the board, draw cards, mill your opponents and do degenerate activities with Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver, work towards Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter combo for unlimited mana and mill the table out with your signature spell Maddening Cacophony. If Maddening Cacophony is somehow shut down then we can do the same with Mind Grind. If we can't get Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter online then we try to control the board and stay alive until Ruin Crab, Fractured Sanity, Tasha's Hideous Laughter, and Psychic Corrosion mill them out. If your mill strategy somehow gets completely shut down, our last resort is getting Kozilek, Butcher of Truth to sac your opponents permanents and smash face.

Helpful Info

This runs 18 lands with 5 mana rocks and 1 mana dork which has the sole purpose of fueling our combo, which should have the curve to get online, along with Vampiric Tutor, Demonic Tutor, Mystical Tutor, and in case of emergency Tolaria West to get your missing pieces. Single-card draw spells only get you so far and multi-card draw spells are expensive so you want to get Mystic Remora or Rhystic Study into play as quickly as possible. Damnation and Cyclonic Rift are your 2 sweepers with the ability to tutor them if needed, otherwise you are usually tutoring for a draw enchantment or combo piece. Dauthi Voidwalker and Grafdigger's Cage are your graveyard hate pieces for those who can benefit from our mill strategy. Urza's Saga helps tutor for Grafdigger's Cage, which otherwise can get you Pithing Needle to shut down an oppressive Oathbreaker or grab a mana rock for your combo.

This features some of the cheapest and most efficient removal/interaction which is designed to only use when someone is coming at you or you need to stop someone from winning the game. Narset, Parter of Veils is just great. I'm not exactly trying to combo with Windfall but if the opportunity presents itself, why not?
