Fast Mageblade
Snapcasters are for instant creatures on opponents turn after day or boardwipe, and to recast mana leak/naturalize.
Stalkers are vs. burn decks.
Naturalize/leak for stony silence, ratchet bomb, and shrine and just general defense.
Turn 1 rampTurn 2 sword Turn 3 swing with sword and another ramp guy, control or another sword if you swung with feast and famine.Turn 4 another sword, equip sword, and swing with 2 swords, and/or control.
Use sword vs opponents colors as first priority, feast first if you can land an attack with it, and Body and Mind vs. aggro/burn/black control decks for more creatures and defense.
Mulligan if you don't start with ramp + sword in hand.
Mana guy on turn 1 means turn 3 when your equiping to swing first main phase you have 4 total mana if you need to tap mana guy...so you can land a leak if you need to if opponent burns your guy in response to your equip.
You don't get to swing that turn but you keep your guy alive and equiped...and with right protection colors it may very well be gg.
Leak > Snapcaster Leak is also just so good...can't pass up the combo in any deck with blue in it...well...my illusions control magic deck did well without any counterspells...but...they took out the eldrazi 4 mana control magic...
