Jinxed Idol would be good. An you should also add: Pact of the Titan and Eye of the Storm , so that you can add these achievements:

Win by casting Pact of the Titan while you control Eye of the Storm .

Also: Kill one or more players using Jinxed Idol .

Also, you NEED Storm Crow .

My bad, you already have EotS.

@ scorpix: I think you mean Hive Mind not Eye of the Storm right? So your opponents all have to pay for Pact of the Titan but can't and then you win? Since with Eye of the Storm players have the option not to cast the copies.

If your goal is to tie, put divine intervention in (inexplicably, it's not banned). Also, you could run shahrazad if your group allows it in that its ban is somewhat nebulous

Well, I play as though that is my intention, but I end up winning because people scoop from all the silliness.

So I have a question, when using Warp World if you draw all of those cards and happen to pick out Transcendence , you are required to put it into play, soooo do you effectively lose the game immediately? Any way of getting around this?

MagicalHacker says... #7

It's happened a couple of times, and yes you do lose immediately. Even with life outlets, it'd still be immediate loss when Warp World resolves.

Im curious about Transcendence ...do you usually find yourself below 20 life in order to cast it? I feel like with a general that gains you life you wouldn't be under 20 very often.

People reach a threshold where they just can't take it anymore, and so I do get much lower than 20. It hurts when it comes out from a Warp World though :/

War's Over achievement: win with Divine Intervention + Clockspinning on another person's turn.

MagicalHacker says... #11

Don't you mean "draw" since Divine Intervention doesn't actually let someone win... xD

I think there should be an achievement for resolving Eye of the Storm and Hive Mind together. I don't even want to wrap my head around what might happen, but here's an example:

What do you think it should be called? xD

What would be a good replacement for Transcendence ? I dont want to randomly lose instantly although it still looks fun. This is gonna be my second EDH deck.

Honestly, this deck needs two more lands for sure, so I'd probably take it and another card out to add two more lands or something.

Do keep in mind that it is in the deck to make someone else instantly lose, but there is the slight possibility that it will backfire.

September 23, 2014 7:19 p.m.

Alright. I'd personally rather have the ability to continuously screw my friends over in a game.

You could also probably throw Reliquary Tower in with the lands. It will at least let you keep your hand instead of discarding 5 every turn or something.

Eye of the Storm should really be accompanied by storm cards like Grapeshot and Empty the Warrens for maximum carnage. Gives an incentive to play out as much as you can, then shoot them for ridiculous numbers.

fexxianosch says... #20

Remember that "Storm" says "When you cast this spell, copy it for each spell cast beforeit this turn. You may choose new targets for the copies.". In the case of Eye of the Storm it just creates copies which are put on the stack and not getting casted. So the Storm effect from Grapeshot and Empty the Warrens wont trigger for the copies.

So when you donate Thought Lash, the receiving player looses? How does the cumulative upkeep work? Can't the receiving player just pay it?

Thanks!

March 10, 2015 2:03 p.m.

MagicalHacker says... #23

You should ABSOLUTELY check the oracle text! When the cumulative upkeep happens, whoever owned it when it triggered either pays the cost or loses the game.

Yeah, they reworded Thought Lash so that it would be a bit less absurd.

Here is the article about it. Scroll to the bottom.

I would like to say that I just made 3 players rage quit in a 4 player EDH game using this deck. I feel like that could be an achievement. I just whims of fated at the right time :D. Thanks for making such a cool deck.
