Choose your Fighter!

A collaboration attempt towards a build with Squee_Spirit_Guide where we are basing a build around a 'Magus of..' card, and committing to that being the foundation of our build. The limitations in place were:

1. Use a Magi, (assumed at least one) and make that function the core of the build.
2. Potentially have this be not something already constructed, drafted, meta-based, etc. that seemed (in my opinion) corny.
3. Made for Vintage build, to have increased access to some really busted stuff.

Magus Roulette

For my construction I am choosing Magus of the Moat and Magus of the Tabernacle for an attempt at a Mono-White {W} Prison-themed build. Splash a sub-theme for 'Runes' and some super cool Mono-White cards that I love. Stax is also inevitably going to be on the radar for creation purposes. More details to come.

The Magi (Theme)

The central plot of my build revolves around two different Magi:

If it ain't flying, GTFO OMF.

1. Magus of the Moat is able to lock our board of non-flyers, and if we revolve some mechanics around that, well... let's just say Moat has that price-tag for a reason.

Everything has it's Price..

1. Magus of the Tabernacle is a really dirty way to make your enemies recognize that.. you WON'T be trifled with. Much like the other Magus counterpart to my build, The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale also has a steep price tag, and won't be featured in my build.

later on I will detail other cards and synergy that supports these cards, TL;DR I have ideas about this already.

Further panels are going to be for turn basis and maybe discussion around how the two decks interact! I'll tag that duo-deck once Squee_Spirit_Guide has finished constructing their own deck. I really look forward to seeing how my counterpart has built around Magus of the Mirror, assuming they still intend on that.
