It's all good. You had me intrigued though!

@ TheGamer There's a Modern deck that uses Amulet of Vigor and bounce duals ala Gruul Turf and Golgari Rot Farm to create massive amounts of mana. There's another combo piece, but because of that deck Amulet has shot up in price.

Yeah, I knew abut that deck aeonstoremyliver. I just thought that was an infinite combo... silly me!

Also, if you don't mind with your permission, I would love to build this deck myself.

just playtested this... first match up against one my B/W Lifegain decks, The Gift of Bountiful Life, it lost... due to a lack of mana (which is weird, as it can produce a lot of that...) and me dropping 3 out of my 4 Gray Merchant of Asphodel s througout the matchup...

Second round, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth came out a few turns early and destroyed my board state....

3rd Round went to Primeval Titan and Kozilek, Butcher of Truth once again...

All in all a very fun deck... I normally hate the Eldrazi's, but hey, normally they are not being used by me... so i have a new respect for them.. and I at least took 1 round from them.... so I am happy...

+1 from me.

@ TheGamer By all means man, build away! Just give credit where credit is due :-)

@ kcin It's an odd deck to pilot due to the mana base and what not. I'm not afraid to mulligan a few times until I can get my Posts going with tutors and the like. But, luck is part of Magic too! Glad you were able to win a round man, and thanks!

I have a mono-green deck, too: Legit Mono-Green Burn (Is That Even Possible?). You should check it out.

My Glacial Fog deck just looks at this and snickers.

I'd suggest swapping Expedition Map for Sylvan Scrying .

April 19, 2014 4:26 p.m.

Eh. Sylvan Scrying is decent, but I need a green source. It's effectively cheaper, and I tend to want a green source in my hand, however I can keep a hand with some Posts and Expedition Map . I've play tested Sylvan Scrying and favor Map.

Ancient Stirrings is a worse Scrying, but can help me dig for artifacts or Eldrazi as well. And it's G.

When attacking with anything else than Emrakul, could you find a spot for a Berserk (or maybe a Concordant Crossroads ) for instant kill instead of letting the opponent play another turn ? (albeit I assume you can afford the extra turn after annihilator has done its job..)

May 17, 2014 10:55 a.m.

I've thought about Concordant Crossroads and it could be very cool. The price is a setback, at the moment. I find though that Glacial Chasm buys me enough time that I can build a board presence, choose not to pay the Cumulative Upkeep, and swing for the win. Crossroads can be horrible in some matchups like Show and Tell , Elves, Goblins, Red Deck Wins, Dredge, Affinity, and the like. If I could dig for Crossroads and utilize it the same turn for the win, it would be totally worthwhile!

I have thought about Summoning Trap as a way to cheat out Prime Time or an Eldrazi at the end of my opponent's turn, setting it up with Top or Library. But, I would need more library manipulation for it to be viable.

What about Magus of the Candelabra seeing how one of the main reasons the deck is top level legacy is coz of the interaction between Candelabra of Tawnos+Cloudpost

November 29, 2014 11:53 a.m.

Candelabra is definitley on my wants list, as is Tabernacle (see end of description), however well out of my price range.

I had Magus in the deck at one point, but it ate removal like a boss. I replaced it with Oracle of Mul Daya, which is extremely effective here.

Amulet of Vigor makes up for the lack of a Candelabra effect; the abilities stack when more than one are on the field, thereby slowing me to tap a Post twice (or more pending number of Amulets). Amulet also plays very well with Crop Rotation and Prime Time, allowing me to cast Emrakul as early as turn 4.

What about Doubling Cube can help when you're heavy on colorless mana but light on green and budget ramp

November 29, 2014 12:21 p.m.

I thought about Cube. I may include it in my colorless version of this deck, though.

pi done my only green post deck now](http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/30-11-14-green-post/) ENVY IT!!!!

November 30, 2014 7:36 a.m.

Ha, neat combo! Not quite my style and a little hard to pull off in Legacy. I've seen EDH decks run it or something similar with Child of Alara and such as the General.

I'll check that out!

Thinking about putting Oracle of Mul Daya in my 12-post. How would you rate your experience with this card?

+1

December 5, 2014 2:19 p.m.

Thanks!

Oracle is great as a singleton. When she sticks, awesome things happen with Top/Library shenanigans. And it gets better w Amulet out. Cool thing is, her ability is static and can be utilized after she ETB.

I'm calling shenanigans on this

December 5, 2014 4:57 p.m.

Lol, totes mah goats!

For real though, Oracle of Mul Daya shines with Sensei's Divining Top and Sylvan Library. I can set the lands I want to ETB with Top/Oracle and fix my draw. Beautiful synergy.
