Majestic Myiarch and Friends

Standard Aggro Midrange RGW (Naya)

Sideboard

Majestic Myriarch is the focus of this deck. The creatures in this deck all have their own way of helping him out; whether it be by helping paying his mana cost, giving him protection from being countered, or by giving him an ability. Also, they help to make him stronger by just being on the battle field.

Listed below is how the deck works, and the purpose of each card. If you have any suggestions for the deck, or for my sideboard, please comment below. They are very much appreciated.

Mana Fixing

Attune with Aether helps you to search through your deck for any basic land that you will need for the latter turns. This card is really great if you need to get a land of any color you're in need of. It will also help with shuffling your deck, which can be very helpful if you're not getting anything you need.

Channeler Initiate is great for helping playing your creatures or spells a turn early. It can also help if you're getting mana screwed. After all the -1/-1 come of, this initiate can turn into a good blocker.

Removal

Declaration in Stone is great if you're playing against any kind of token deck, graveyard deck, or to help remove an annoying creature your opponent has. The exiling is also good for playing against any kind of deck using the embalm or eternalize mechanics.

Cast Out is great for removing a creature who is indestrucibile your opponent has. Since it can be cast at instant speed that is a bonus. Also, most decks don't have a way with dealing with enchantments, so chances are that creature will not be coming back into play.

Burn from Within is great for getting rid of a creature who is indestrucible, can kill of a threating creature, or can finish off your opponent if you need too.

Majestic Myriarch Synergistic Creatures

Rhonas the Indomitable and Oketra the True both are indestrucible creatures and, have deathtouch and double strike respectively. And with this being a creature based deck, it should be very easy to get both creatures to be attacking, or even blocking if needed.

Gisela, the Broken Blade is a flying, lifelink, and first strike creature. Along with those abilities, she is also a 4/3 creature that will turn Rhonas on.

Prowling Serpopard may not have any abilities to give to our Majestic Myriarch , but he does provide some coverage to all of the creatures from control decks who want to counter everything we play. Also, he will be able to turn Rhonas on by being a 4/3 creature.

Other Synergistic Spells

Always Watching will give all of our creatures +1/+1 and vigilance. Which will help a lot by allowing our creatures to both attack and block.

Samut, the Tested is a probably the best G/R planeswalker printed (with Arlinn Kord   as a close runner-up) into standard in a while. Her +1 ability gives a creature double strike. If you do right, this can give two creatures double strike. And her -2 ability can help to either finish a creature off or by killing your opponent. Finally, her -7 ability will allow us to go find two creatures and/or planeswalkers and put them onto the battlefield. Which means we can go get our Majestic Myriarch and the other Samut and put them both into play.

Finishers

Glorybringer is one of two of the best game finishers in all of standard magic right now (at least in my opinion). Being a 4/4 with both flying and haste, and with it's exerting ability, you can't go wrong. And then if you're able to add in the +1/+1 and vigilance from Always Watching , that is insane. The key to this being as effective as possible, is to play it the turn before Majestic Myriarch .

Majestic Myriarch is the true star of this deck, and the other half of the best game finishers in standard. With both it's power and toughness equal to twice the number of creatures you control; it can get to be really big, really fast. Then you add the ability stealing ability it has, that can be a really hard to deal with. And this happens at the beginning of each combat phase, this includes your opponents combat phase.

Using the Sideboard

As of right now, the sideboard is still incomplete. I am looking for any suggestions for the sideboard.

The main card that will be coming out of the mainboard is Burn from Within, being as it a two of and can be really easy to replace with what we have in the sideboard.

If you need more exiling removal, you're going to add the extra Declaration in Stone and Cast Out, while removing the two Burn from Within's.

If you need more control protection for your creatures, add the two extra Prowling Serpopard's, and again remove the Burn from Within's.

If you need to add some more strength to your creatures, add the two extra Always Watching 's while removing the Burn from Within's.

If you're needing to have some extra protection for your creatures, add in either 2 or 3 of the Heroic Intervention. Depending on the type of deck you're playing against, you can take out the Burn from Within, Declaration in Stone , or the Cast Out.

If you're in need of some extra help with your creatures, then you add the Kari Zev, Skyship Raider. If you're not playing a control deck, and need a better creature, you can remove the Prowling Serpopard. Or if you do need the serpopard, then you can remove the Burn from Within.
