I love me some zombies. This looks really fun for casual games i have a plants zombies deck i love playing casual. Mine is a bit more of a modern version but i digress your deck has all the good zombie stuff. Dont think you would enjoy playing it in a competitive legacy setting but who has fun spending hundreds of bucks on cards.

+1 for the mood. I would add a couple more lands personally, but it looks like a lot of fun, especially for us Vorthos players

Thank you, Fendorian. I keep to a strict 20 land limit for most of my decks, especially ones like this that have a balanced mana curve. I find the 20 lands work just fine with this deck.
I'm glad you like it. I am something of a Vorthos player myself, and this deck has been an ongoing work in progress to create a really fun zombie experience.

You could add a few Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth to work with Zombie Master . Don't get pissed at me for that suggestion if it's stupid because I don't play Legacy. Just saw the combo and thought I would mention it.

I think the suggestion is good, but the deck looks more on the budget side, but it's a nice fit.

Oh yeah, that's an awesome suggestion, and I would love that. I have seen other people use that combo with Zombie Master on here. But Istalya is right--just too expensive.

Honestly, if I some day have that kind of money to spend on this deck, my first priority will be swapping out the Diabolic Tutor with Demonic Tutor . I'll probably replace them with Beseech the Queen soon.

Unfortunately Demonic Tutor is banned in legacy. However if you were looking for a competitive casual deck, that would be good.

Yeah. My playing group isn't strict about formats. The only rule that really exists is that under my roof, no Sol Ring .

I think Liliana of the Veil would be better than Liliana Vess . I know the former doesn't Vampiric Tutor like the latter does, but sometimes you just gotta deal with a True-Name Nemesis or a turn two Emrakul, the Aeons Torn . If you feel you need tutor effects that badly, I would suggest Grim Tutor if you can afford it.

Great suggestions, Boomwizard. They are a little out of my price range (especially Liliana), but they would all work really well with this deck.

Also, Boomwizard, my next edit to this deck will be swapping out the tutors for Beseech the Queen .

Sach_squatch: Altar's Reap is awesome with Grave Pact or Dictate of Erebos . I get to draw two cards, and make my opponent sac a creature.
Hymn to Tourach is a cool card, but I don't think it fits the theme well, and I don't know what I would swap it out for.

A good rule of thumb for Legacy anything with a CC of 2 or more is too high of a CC for the format.

Some of the best Legacy decks also include green as well for Abrupt Decay and such

Sach_squatch: I'm not about to take this deck to a tournament any time soon. Note that in the first sentence of the description it says this is a casual Vorthos deck. I'm not going for winning by turn 4. I'm going for the complete zombie experience, with many of the best zombie cards in the format arranged into multiple combo options.
