notanothercthulhu: I actually used to have Zombie Trailblazer in here. I took him out, but I think he still works very well in the build. The BBB cost is great for devotion, too.

Door of Destinies + Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar = I think this is a funny combo, all be it requires at least one zombie on already on the field.

obitus: I don't want to go infinite with Gisa and Phyrexian Altar, but yes, a person could, in theory, go nuts with Ghoulcaller Gisa and Phyrexian Altar.

I understand, when I build my decks I avoid certain cards too. People will look me funny cause I don't run a Triskelion with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed. I was sitting there last night and thinking about the deck and this came to my mind.

It just made me laugh because its so simple.

Ghoulcaller Gisa + Phyrexian Altar + Blood Artist would be ridiculous.

Mikaeus, the Unhallowed+Triskelion infinite damage

Hey dude! An amazing new card came out for this deck in DKT: Sidisi, Undead Vizier.

slovakattack: Yeah! I have one, actually, and I have been thinking about tossing it in here. It's a great card--almost a cheaper Rune-Scarred Demon, or a more expensive Diabolic Intent that leaves you with something to sac. I just added Tar Fiend. Muahaha.

This is an awesome deck! I appreciate the way you took the time to write up cogent explanation of how the different elements work together, and even created a video to help explain how Ghoulcaller Gisa can really churn out the zombies! However, I notice that Deathrender is no longer in your decklist. What did you replace it with, and why?

The_Angry_Man I think I swapped it out for Mimic Vat, but ideally they would both be in here! I haven't played with this deck in a while, but I got a lot of great games out of it. I think I might rebuild it as a Chainer, Dementia Master deck.

NoSoyYucateco Thank you for your response! I am looking at building an all-zombie (sans Ghoulcaller Gisa mono-black EDH deck...I will link it once I get the framework worked out. It should go without saying that I will be "borrowing" a lot of the synergistic combinations you have set up in this excellent deck!

Awesome! I do love zombie decks. I'm looking forward to seeing it. There are a few things I would have liked to work in here but never got around to.
