Hey, your deck idea inspired me to start up my own take on this theme:

I would be very grateful if you told me what you think!

NoSoyYucateco - here is a draft of a deck I played at my LGS yesterday featuring Stitcher Geralf...I present A Stitch In Time Saves Nine. Please take a look and let me know what you think!

My only suggestion would be to possibly run Volrath's Stronghold since you are not only running zombies, so you can get your utility creatures back like Runescarred Demon to tutor again, or It that betrays for the trigger effects it has when you make others sack.

I liked Corpse Harvester for Tutoring and Ramp, althought it might be a bit too costly. Phyrexian Tower is a decent and hard to remove sacrifice outlet. Relentless Dead can be very valuable if you have enough Mana to use both effects at the same time, Shepherd of Rot could be a decent finisher if you have lots of Gisa Tokens along with your Polluter. Vampiric Rites is okayish if you need more draw power. As you probably know already, I'm a big fan of Fallen Ideal as it's reusable and can give quite the nasty surprise with your ramps and Gravecrawler. I think Sultai Emissary is useful in sacrifice-heavy decks, it is cheap to revive with Relentless Dead and speeds up your deck when you decide to sac it. Grim Haruspex could also be worth looking into.

I just listed all the cards that came to mind when looking at your deck, maybe something useful is in there somewhere. Nice and really flavorful deck!

Thanks, casmiel. I got a lot of good games out of this deck. I have since dismantled it. Right now I'm playing Que Riku! and Ezuri's Elves of Progress, and I'm rebuilding my Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter deck.

I like your suggestions though. I had Corpse Harvester in here for a while, but ended up taking it out (mostly because of that CMC). I also had Grim Haruspex and Shepherd of Rot in here for a time. I changed the deck up a lot over time (I played it for about a year) just to keep things interesting. There have been a lot of great new zombies printed since I made this (looking at you, Risen Executioner.) It would be fun to rebuild to try out the new stuff, though I think if I build another EDH zombie deck it will be Sidisi, Brood Tyrant.

Hey love the deck. +1. I was wondering, why did you take out Deathrender? Seemed like a perfect fit for the deck.
