> This deck is about creating mana and destroying your opponent with spells.

> All feedback and comments are welcome

The most important card in the deck is Devoted Druid. second is Vizier of Remedies. Togeather they give you infinite mana.

It's possible to win without them with this deck, but they are the main focus.

Devoted Druid + Vizier of Remedies

The protection from multicolored of Stonecoil Serpent and protection from blue of Mistcutter Hydra will come in handy situationally // A lot. Within some games it dominates as damage-less "free" blocking. It can be huge value to cast either as a 1/1 for or early on, slowing your opponent from gaining an advantage.

There Is alot of ramp that ends up becoming infinite mana so I feel pretty comfortable running 16-18 lands.

I don't think it's a huge disadvantage to muligan. Especially with the new Mulligan rules.

Noteworthy combos:

Arbor Elf + Utopia Sprawl

Turn 2 producing mana of 2 colors.

You can get a turn two hasted 3/3 by ;

Turn one,

Forest > cast Arbor Elf

Pass turn

Turn two,

Forest > cast Utopia Sprawl on the untapped Forest, call any color.

> the sprawl-enchanted forest for -

>> Arbor Elf to the sprawl enchanted forest to it again for - total.

>> Cast Mistcutter Hydra and swing.

> Freed from the Real (in the sideboard) are for casting on Arbor Elf after calling blue for Utopia Sprawl, another way to create infinite mana.

> Freed from the Real Also "ok" with magus of the candalabra(also sideboard).

>> if Unbound Flourishing is out, it's pretty good. with Utopia Sprawl's on the field, even better.

Also, with the same Arbor Elf + Utopia Sprawl trick you can cast Unbound Flourishing and a 2/2 Stonecoil Serpent on turn 2!

Or just wait till turn three for a 12/12.

Casting Magus of the candalabra instead of Stonecoil Serpent on turn two could potentially grant you mana turn three if you get your land drop. That's a whopping 16/16 Stonecoil Serpent or a 14/14 hasted Mistcutter Hydra. =)

I favor the opening hands with druid and vizier togeather. hopeful to draw into whatever else you need, land or an spell.

There are 12 wincon cards.

4xWalking Ballista

4xMistcutter Hydra

4xStonecoil Serpent

> when you go infinite you only need one.

A Great hand would include :

Windswept Heath, Forest, Birds of Paradise, Vizier of Remedies, Devoted Druid, Emerge Unscathed, Walking Ballista.

What I would do with this hand:

  • Turn one,

Forest > cast Birds of Paradise

Pass turn.

  • Turn two,

Windswept Heath > crack for Temple Garden untapped.

Cast Devoted Druid with Birds of Paradise and Forest

Pass turn.

Saving to cast Emerge Unscathed targeting Devoted Druid, in response.

> Only problem with the emerge unscathed Is that the rebound effect is at upkeep. You don't have a chance to cast your spell before you have to use the rebound. >>Path to Exile has proven useful, removing blockers incase your spell in hand is Mistcutter Hydra

Maybe in search of a cantrip protection spell, the rebound is nice but slightly missing its mark.

> once your infinite, the only real threat is counter spells or removal of Devoted Druid and/or Vizier of Remedies.

  • Turn three,

Cast Vizier of Remedies to create infinite mana >

Cast Walking Ballista for >

remove +1/+1counters for direct damage to the opponent's face.(and or, creatures they control).

>>End of opponent. =)

Could also go with :

Temple Garden, Forest, Arbor Elf, Unbound Flourishing, Once Upon a Time, Stonecoil Serpent, Utopia Sprawl

-Turn one,

Once Upon a Time for "free"

Fetching a Walking Ballista (Yay)

Temple Garden un tapped > cast Arbor Elf

Pass turn,

-Turn two, draw Vizier of Remedies

Forest > cast Utopia Sprawl ("trick" on untapped forest) > cast Unbound Flourishing

Pass turn,

-Turn three, Draw forest

Forest > Utopia Sprawl enchanted Forest for ,

Arbor Elf to the Forest to again for total,

Temple Garden and other Forest for total.

> Cast Stonecoil Serpent as 12/12

Pass turn,

Turn four, draw Emerge Unscathed

Cast Walking Ballista for (6/6) > Swing with Stonecoil Serpent

Pass turn,

Turn five, draw Once Upon a Time

Cast Once Upon a Time fetching a Temple Garden > Temple Garden untapped, > pay for +1+1 counter for Walking Ballista > cast Emerge Unscathed targeting Stonecoil Serpent > swing with Stonecoil Serpent > Remove 7, +1+1 counters from Walking Ballista for the kill.

Opponent daed

Good luck =)
