Currently testing a new variant with BFZ cards, plus lowering the mana-curve to 4 and including a playset of Collected Company. Hoping that this will take me firmly into agrro/tempo territory with creatures big enough to thwart mid range threats. Taken out Whisperwood though, who was my greatest option versus control, but hopefully the deck is faster, and can deal with control quickly enough.

If you put in CoCo you need to really think about if you want to leave Hangarbacks in.

Yeah I realised that, and decided that CoCo isn't really worth the Hangarbacks. Plus, no CoCo lets me consider higher cost cards, but I'm thinking that without a high value 4-drop it might be better to keep a low curve. More testing will tell.

Woodland Wanderer would be a great 4 drop with a couple dual lands. As is it will drop as a 4/4 vigilance trample with scales out. Add a couple of colors to that and he would grow to a huge threat.

I was also creating a deck with the Hardened Scales concept of power, but I have a straight away improvement. Every deck has it's Planeswalker, And I straight away recommend Nissa, Voice of Zendikar to pump the counters even further.

Hey guys, thanks for the comments haha but this deck has been out of commission since BFZ came out. It got changed to a Gruul version and did very well, but now Hardened Scales is leaving us to go to a better place, and so the deck will no longer work in standard.
Again, thanks for taking the time to comment regardless.
I will be making a G/R werewolf deck, G/U Investigate deck, and a G/B Delium deck, so stay tuned!

Not on TappedOut's system yet, but here's two for the maybe board that could find their way into the deck:
Rot Shambler: Another grower that is affected by Hardened Scales, this one at 1 cost less. What's great about this guy is that I can get sac-happy with Evolutionary Leap and Thopters, whilst making this guy huge, which is some nice synergy.
Earthen Arms: This would be great at instant speed, but at sorcery it just won't cut it. Love the concept though, but I wonder how "awaken" interacts with hardened scales? Will hardened scales increase the number of counters on the land? Or will it not because the land isn't a creature yet?
