Spot removal is a bit sparse in EDH, in my local scene at least. Problems in need of removal, however, are abound. Mangara is here to save the day! Also, the Time Spiral block is one of my favorites, and I've been meaning to build themed commander decks. Obviously, this isn't 100% on theme, but it's a start.

This is mono-white control-combo, which is all my commander is really good for. In fact, he's really, really good at it. At the most basic level you'll be ready to exile at least one permanent by turn 4. You can win by then too, if you have some nut hand like Rings of Brighthearth, Basalt Monolith, and Umbral Mantle or Staff of Domination. Still, more often than not you're just durdling, with the typical lumbering pace of mono white. Fortunately, as long as your commander is out, people are often content not messing with you- at least when I play, I'm not exiling things as quickly as possible and hoping to reanimate or recast Mangara. People eyeball him, not quite sure what's going on, and even the classic "GG, basically" guys like Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre quake in their little boots. This even happens when I play with my friends who have seen me play this dozens of times.

I've been tuning the deck a fair bit and it's at a point where it's somewhat consistent but can still play out in a number of ways, soft or strong, slow or slower. The deck even has two quasi-Mangaras in Witch Hunter and Pentarch Paladin. Crucible of Worlds is handy for Strip Mine and friends, fetches, and exploiting Land Tax by overstuffing your hand and discarding surplus land. None of these are necessary, but they thin out the deck appreciably. Actual ramp isn't too important for this deck, but, as with most, it can make good use of whatever mana you have available.
