greyninja, thanks for those excellent thoughts. I have only played a few games with it so far. Twice out of the three games I played, I had a turn 2 Yidris and went off on turn three. My opening game saw me play Yidris turn 2. I naturally drew a Mox Diamond turn 3 and played it, discarding a land. My hand was almost empty at this point. I attacked with Yidris, dealing 5 dmg. I then cast a Conjurer's Bauble and it cascaded into a Wheel of Fate. I drew a fresh seven, and I played an Exploration. This time it cascaded into Ancestral Vision, and I drew into more one drops. I activated Conjurer's Bauble to put the Wheel of Fate on the bottom of the library, and I cascaded into it again with another one drop. That was kind of the whole purpose of the deck, so it really was nice that it worked right away in my very first game testing it.
All of those Tormenting Voice effects are amazing in my opinion. I should put more of those in. Probably the best card in the deck is Manamorphose since it both makes mana and draws cards, but aside from that, Tormenting Voice etc style cards are pretty amazing. So is Night's Whisper.
I will check out that deck link and get right back to you with thoughts!!

Wow that Mana curve is low enough to make a limbo champion nervous. +1 from me.

Thanks, beninator. It makes an obscene amount of mana. It makes mana and refreshes cards in hand but not much else, lol. Death Cloud which was in there as a way to kind of leverage the low curve I play with is still trying to earn its place. Usually, when I am able to cast it, I've already almost killed myself by paying 8 life every time with Sylvan Library. I like the deck because it plays on a pretty wild axis. Also, the curve is even lower than it suggests since it doesn't factor the Wheel of Fate or the Ancestral Vision as 0 drops, and it considers Elvish Spirit Guide and Simian Spirit Guide as 3 drops. The Spirit Guides are really great in the deck since they can make free mana or trigger cascade, while a Lotus Petal cannot.

Deck looks cool!
Is this a parody of a song though?

Gitaxian Probe and Noxious Revival both look like shoe-ins. Probe replaces itself while cascading off of Yidris, Revival can let you reuse the best pieces and also triggers cascade.
what about haste enablers? Expedite is a worse probe but comes with the upside of sometimesallowing you to get immediate value of Yidris (If Yidris doesn't draw any hate where you play then a) you have a horrifying meta or b) they don't appreciate Yidris yet but soon will.

Dunadain Thanks for checking the deck out. I think those are super solid suggestions, and a few will probably make the cut after some revisions. I like the idea of giving Yidris haste. Right now I am just using the Hanweir Battlements, but you're right, a cantrip enabler is a solid idea as well. These are great thoughts, and I'll spend some time considering them!! Appreciate you, brother!
Sgt.Pickles The song is Run's House by Run-DMC which is also from the scene in the movie Dogma when Loki shoots everyone on the bus.

So I got that this deck aims to generate as much mana as possible on early turns and draw a bunch of cards to create a storm-like effect, but is there a specific win-con? What is the deck mainly trying to do?

Sgt.Pickles, Jeez, wouldja stop asking such good questions!! You are supposed to pretend it's a good deck and carry on. In all seriousness, this deck is very light in the department of doing things.
That being said, I have enjoyed every single game I have played. You have to be prepared to almost kill yourself to eek out a very small advantage. But that being said, I think there are ways for players to use it as a jumping off point for a more powerful collection of cards.
Probably the single strongest card in the deck is Aetherflux Reservoir. That will win games where the vast majority of the rest of the deck simply will not. I had purposefully left that card out of prior builds but I felt sufficiently underpowered enough for my taste levels that I could include a single card that could win the game on its own.
For the most part, I dislike playing cards like Demonic Tutor because it all too often tutors a card which wins the game, and I more enjoy the way a game builds as opposed to how it ends, however, this deck, by virtue of the fact of being so light on specific ways to win the game, it allows me to play the most broken cards without feeling like I am trying to edge people out based on the power level of my cards. I feel it is more fair to use tutors if they don't win the game.
You are right in your assessment of the deck. This is a deck for people who like turns 1-3 and are ready to begin another game by turn seven. Much appreciation for your comments!!

Lol... I love it. At first I thought it was a competitive edh combo deck but this is so much better... I'm a fan of casual, cause in casual play there are no wrong answers.

Sgt.Pickles, exactly! And it is kind of funny when your opponents grumble as you cascade into all these insane combo cards like Demonic Tutor only to realize all you were trying to do was sacrifice your own lands with Squandered Resources so you could cast Splendid Reclamation getting more lands. Although Death Cloud is in the deck, and that can be quite a mean card. You walk a razor's edge on either side with the advantage usually coming from having the more explosive turns 1-4. It is fun playing a deck where if you can't cast Yidris by turn three with your opening seven, you can probably just mulligan it.

lol Thanks, illumfolly. The idea of Death Cloud was always more exciting than the actual card in my experience. I think it is better in a shell with Waste Not. ;)

If Yidris needs new shoes, where are his Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots? Also, if you added Palinchron, you could copy it with Phantasmal Image for infinite mana, storm, and (if you connected with Yidris that turn) cascade into every nonland in your deck.

thanks CharonSquared! Feel free to upvote if you like the deck. I appreciate your suggestions. The name of the deck is meant to play fun at the random and gambling nature of your cascades.

This deck is rad. Looks fun.
I enjoy your take on Feldon of the Third Path. It goes well with stuff like Skullclamp, plus the ramp/draw cards (coiling oracle) and even Bob if you activate at upkeep. Frantic Search would pair well too I think.
If I did question some of the deck, it would be the more group hug cards like Ghirapur Orrery and Veteran Explorer. You do see the Explorer in other decks. Starting a turn by playing and sac'ing for 2 extra land is explosive, but also opens you up to countermagic. When do you usually do his thing?
I'm feelin' those two slots could be better served. Bloom Tender and Three Visits are on the expensive side, but very valuable nudge nudge. You're also missing Fyndhorn Elves to make the trifecta!
Vampiric Tutor doesn't cantrip; but does its job. I assume it's in the maybeboard due to its crazy cost too.
Your landbase is insane. How do you feel about Cathartic Reunion, Faithless Looting, Careful Study, maybe even Tormenting Voice, Magmatic Insight, Wild Guess etc? I want to blast through my deck until I get combo pieces, retrieving lands with Crucible of Worlds,Splendid Reclamation & co. I also haven't picked up a Crucible of Worlds, so I would very much like your opinion on that.
Here's the deck I've been working on and playing with since the summer (LINK). It's meant for multiplayer so the curve is much higher. I'd like to drop that as much as possible. It also has more interaction for slowing down my gnar friends. Slightly less emphasis on yidris himself.
How much do you feel you rely on your commander to finish games? That'll take forever in large games. Same w/ mill. Using the largest hand size is smart tho.
