Perhaps cutting down the excess 3 cards will help you. (Your main board has 63). Also, does Oracle of Bones really help you here with only a handful of sorceries and instants? I feel like he belongs more on an Izzet type of deck that exploits lots of sorceries and instants, anyway just my thoughts.

Here is mine: COW-BLADES!!

4x ragemonger, if you eventually get reckoner's I've done stupid stuff like drop a ragemonger, then drop two more mongers at 1 a shaman for R and reckoner for free

March 3, 2014 11:36 p.m.

Boros Reckoner for free is really insane, mostly especially if it's a 6/4 Trample Haste creature because of Kragma Warcaller and Rageblood Shaman in play. I did it once, and my opponent scooped.

Door of Destinies is a pretty bad card, especially in this deck. It comes down far too late to give you any real meaningful buff, and it likely won't even do anything for you the turn it comes down.

March 7, 2014 10:13 p.m.

You're right Tabu34, the Door is removed and added another Ragemonger and a Deathbellow Raider

I really like what you have going on here. But I'm puzzled as to why you don't run Dreadbore ?

March 16, 2014 3:48 a.m.

mrxentrix mostly price, partially because ravnica is almost out of standard.

why not Fanatic of Mogis ?

If you have one of each of your minotaur lords, he comes in, burns for red devotion, and is a 7/3 hasted trample dude. Fire and Fist in the Face!

May be maybeboard worthy maybe? definitely maybe.

Wow... Super CerealMaybe Hero's Downfall (To get past The Jace, the Mind Sculptor (I meant Architect of Thought not the Mind sculptor lol)and Elspeth, Sun's Champion in Esper and Azorius control) or Searing Blood . Duress is good vs control, but instead of 4 in the mainboard, I think maybe 2 in the sideboard and 2 in the mainboard. That, is, unless, everyone at local's runs Esper/Azorius control. Pithing Needle would be good at 2, but, I assume it will get the same responce as Dreadbore , as the needle is from the ravnica block. Maybe u could add 1 or 2 Shock ? Ehh, almost all minotaur decks are the same >:/ MORE MINOTAURSSSS

March 27, 2014 1:58 a.m.

I agree Kazekazu, the theros block needs more dynamic minotaur action. I may get the Pithing Needle s....throwing it on the maybeboard for now. I'll check my local game shop for some. I may break out the old pocketbook and get some Dreadbore ...not many people run Jace at FNM, but they sure do like their Elspeth, Sun's Champion . seems like everyone has a playset. what about maybe taking out two duress to the sideboard and putting in Pharika's Cure for small life gain and weenie removal. (that is as disturbing as it sounds i know)

Hmm, Pharika's Cure Isn't necessarily that great, as it is double black. This is also applied to Hero's Downfall But, overall the planeswalker removal is great. In addition, while you may add two for the deck, you have to think about what it does lategame. If a lot of people run a full playset of Elspeth, Sun's Champion , as soon as she gets in play, the cure does near nothing. In addition it only damages creatures, while during late-game, planeswalker removal can shine, and burn can also finish off an opponent or their planeswalker. It would be also advantageus to draw into Minotaur, for... obvious reasons. Doom Blade Can get past early game, as well as the burn, so no need for more early hate really. Felhide Brawler , in my opinion, is a badly-designed card. You pay one black and one colorless for a 2/2 vanilla with a drawback. Although it does provide a 2-drop which minotaurs lack (Minotaurs rly need a good one or two-drop in Journey into Nyx). I guess it could be used in the deck. Felhide Spiritbinder Reminds me of Pain Seer . As The Seer is a nerfed version of Dark Confidant , as is Felhide Spiritbinder a nerfed version of Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker , although the spiritbinder is, once again, a minotaur. Maybe, cut out 2 of the Felhide Spiritbinder to replace with Fanatic of Mogis ? And If you are really concerned about weenies, though i'm not sure if the following card will work, maybe try Mizzium Mortars ? There Is not much that Madcap Skills can do early, as it is supposed to. Rather, I find it more useful when more mana is on hand, as at that point, it would actually be possible to spare some mana for the enchantment. Once again, Minotaurs need a one-drop. Also, as this set is heavily Enchantment- Based, You could take out the Madcap Skills to cut it to two, and maybe add 2 Rakdos Cackler ? Mizzium Mortars Can also work in the sideboard, as can Thoughtseize or Duress , since they can remove the aformentioned Elspeth, Sun's Champion . Shock Might also stave off 1-drops, if Rakdos Cackler Isn't used, as it provides something to do turn one, assuming there is no temple played.

You are an aggro you dont need all those scry lands replace with basic or Mana Confluence keep the malice

April 24, 2014 11:45 p.m.

One thing... I know its a budget deck, but no Dreadbore ? You can drop stupid ass planeswalker or Polukranos, World Eater (which a lot of people run at my card shop) for just 2 mana. Or even Hero's Downfall . Its not a whole lot more, and it's great too. Either way, looks fun. +1

April 24, 2014 11:46 p.m.

I would IATEAREPUBLICAN, but the only planeswalker usually run at FNM here is Elspeth, Sun's Champion and with the strong burn/removal I'm already running, she isn't too much of a problem anymore. The only other one I've seen was Jace, Memory Adept but only in an Enchantment Control deck. I've splashed a little white in the sideboard for Chained to the Rocks for easy God removal, and Wear / Tear to take care of Detention Sphere , Blind Obedience , and/or Sphere of Safety . Basically any permanent that could hinder my aggro beasties. The sideboard is solely meta-dependent.

Thank you for the suggestion and your +1!

April 26, 2014 6:28 p.m.

Okay yeah I see what you're getting at. Either way, its fun, and looks great for budget. Good job on the build

Skullcrack and/or Erebos, God of the Dead in the sideboard
