So, this is my first posted deck, please be gentle. I almost exclusively play EDH, so if this gets enough approval/assistance perhaps I'll post another of my decks as well.

Anyways, this is my newest deck, I realized I wanted to get away from Blue (in 3 of my last 4 decks) and decided to pick up a Naya general like one of my pals. I didn't realize how good Marath could be with proper support, but man, he can be a tank!

The focus is half combos-half stompy. You want to have so many threats that you can run over control-y decks given enough time, and a good amount of the time, a good token beatdown can do the job, especially if you can Tooth and Nail Avenger of Zendikar and Craterhoof Behemoth. Also your general can focus on doing so many things, making bigger, populate-rich tokens, weenies for chumping and draw fodder, and just outright burn if you can get him huge, only takes 21 damage per opponent and there are ways of making him that huge.

Also, Mana Echoes. So much Mana Echoes...

Marath Combos:Marath, Will of the Wild+Basalt Monolith+Rings of Brighthearth

Marath+Mana Echoes+Doubling Season

Marath+Mana Echoes+Cathars' Crusade/Ivy Lane Denizen

Purphoros, God of the Forge and Warstorm Surge plus any of the above infinite token combos.

Then there's non-Marath synergies, like Ashnod's Altar+Wurmcoil Engine/Avenger of Zendikar+Nim Deathmantle. The goal isn't to combo out every single game, but I do want the deck to be very competitive.

Any suggestions? I do know that adding Goblin Bombardment is a must, as it's another token wincon in the deck. And I should probably remove Saffi Eriksdotter and Karmic Guide for more synergistic stuff, right now, with Ashnod's they're just another means of infinite colorless, which I should probably find a better use for too. Yosei, the Morning Star isn't synergistic at all, but Yosei-locking people is funny.
