I love this, My first really good standard deck was vampires. and my first EDH has Olivia as my general. Only thing is that I didnt go with the theme of Vampires, I went for a control theme with pingers and alot of them. something that i found to be really great especially with this is AngerMTG Card: Anger and Living DeathMTG Card: Living Death. EntombMTG Card: Entomb for anger, and then if your just on the losing end and draw living death, start blocking to kill your creatures, let theirs live then cast Living death and have fun =)

check out my deck and comment In The Name of the King

You should grab a Dark DepthsMTG Card: Dark Depths. With Vampire HexmageMTG Card: Vampire Hexmage, it's really powerful.

Needs an Emrakul, the Aeons TornMTG Card: Emrakul, the Aeons Torn to represent Marceline's dad. +1 for making an Adventure Time deck

Lol thanks. Emrakul, the Aeons TornMTG Card: Emrakul, the Aeons Torn would work good as his monster form, wish I had him though. For his normal form Baron SengirMTG Card: Baron Sengir fits well lol.

Mephidross Vampire and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed combo with Triskelion for instant killing goodness.

Expedition Map is great for Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth + Cabal Coffers as it doesn't eat up one of your tutors.

Rather than keep going I'll just leave this here and you can see if you want anything from it: deck:team-blade-08062012.

Anowon is Marceline's dad for sure.

Oh and if this is 'French Rites', your missing a lot of the usually reanimation spells, if that's what your going for though.

August 14, 2012 11:23 a.m.

Yeah def, or Baron Sengir if I add him back in.

I do want more reanimate cards but some are expensive.

Ive always liked Falkenrath Noble

September 17, 2012 3:04 p.m.

How about Bloodchief Ascension + Mindcrank combo? Its even flavorful to the deck!

September 18, 2012 2:28 p.m.

I had that combo in my deck, but I took it out because I mostly play with friends and its a Dick move.

This deck needs more land 5-6 might do it. A good number of your spells are quite mana intensive, also more lands means more times you can ping or steal creatures with olivia.

I've considered more land but ot sure what I would take out for them.

it's probably good idea to cut down some from the top of your curve, and/or cards that do underwhelming effects. Also effects that are expensive but don't really go towards winning you the game like Wound Reflection , Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond also fit into this catagory until you get both on the field. All 3 of these will also put a nice target on your head (unless your playgroup is a bunch of idiots/people who like to lose) and unless you're about to win in a couple of turns, multiplayer politics will probably get you eliminated... on another note I wonder if anyone has ever build a w/b deck that will put those to combo enchantments in the graveyard and then use one of the "return all enchantments onto the field" spells, I wonder if they'd need to add blue to maybe mill themselves.

@Demarge I also run Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood and I'll tell you this: It's a backup plan and I have never played one without the other and enough mana to play them. You never play them individually, that gets you too much hate. Bond+Blood with three extra mana for something like Exsanguinate is always my play and that's after the game has dragged past the point of the primary win con of beat down.

If you're looking to cut lands, you have 7 targeted removal spells, could probably cut it down to four. Dark ritual will rarely alter the game in a significant way (you can cast nirkana revenant turn three, but it gets swords to plowshares'd almost immediately, for instance). You could even replace it with a Phyrexian Tower which synergizes pretty well with your bloodghast. Another cut that you could consider is bonfire of the damned, as it misses fatties more often than not.

Thanks for the tips. I forgot about Phyrexian Tower . I had the same feeling about bonfire.
