So this deck was originally meant to be a Doomsday combo deck, but it was just to close to every other doomsday-list. Now I tried to come up with something more original and am turning this into a control-y deck. It should be noted, that I actively tried not to turn it into a stax deck and much rather like it to be instant speed focused interaction.

The deck should be played politically, but in a way that does empower your opponents against each other. Tell your frienemy to hit someone else with their creature and then give it double strike with Duelist's Heritage or turn it into a one-hit kill with Hatred or Tainted Strike. Should they still target you, you have a suit of spot removal, counter spells and redirect effects to correct their poor threat assessment and decision making.

Okay, now that we survived so far, we acctually have to win the game somehow. Our main win-condition is any of the Worldgorger Dragon combos, like Animate Dead, or a loop of two exile effects (Journey to Nowhere + Oblivion Ring). This will generate infinite mana and lets us win with Burning Wish or Mastermind's Acquisition into Debt to the Deathless. Otherwise if we got Piranha Marsh, Shivan Gorge or Sunscorched Desert we simply win. These remains of the doomsday-list could acctually be party of a doomsday pile, if we choose to grab Doomsday with Burning Wish.

The other slots in the deck are for durdely one-shots against single opponents, like Mass Hysteria + Phage the Untouchable or Virtus the Veiled with Quietus Spike.

The last spicy part of the deck is Hellcarver Demon, which was originally part of a doomsday pile including Lich + Repay in Kind . In this iteration of the deck the demon is our one hit wonder. Attacking with it is straight up suicide, but we have another card Insidious Dreams, to turn it into a win. Simply attack and if it goes unblocked we cast dreams in response to the trigger and stack our top of library. Stack could look like this:

  1. Barren Glory wins the game next upkeep if we get rid of the demon
  2. Terminate wins the game next upkeep i̶f̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶g̶e̶t̶ ̶r̶i̶d̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶d̶e̶m̶o̶n̶
  3. Final Fortune wins the game n̶e̶x̶t̶ ̶u̶p̶k̶e̶e̶p̶,̶ ̶i̶f̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶g̶e̶t̶ ̶r̶i̶d̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶d̶e̶m̶o̶n̶

Barren Glory could also be The Cheese Stands Alone, Terminate could be any removal spell, except for stuff like Oblivion Ring and Final Fortune could also be Balancing Act or Teferi's Protection

The sideboard is mostly for situational sweepers, answers or win-cons. There are some "for fun" cards in there like Cruel Entertainment or Head Games, to mess with opponents in casual games. If I am not allowed to play with the sideboard I exchange Mastermind's Acquisition for Doomsday and Burning Wish for Wheel of Fortune (depending on the meta).
