Hey thanks! In all honesty I took out Grand Abolisher as I was testing him in another EDH deck and I only have one copy haha. I'm really struggling to find cuts at the moment - looking at my list right now I can't really see a stand-out card that I could replace with Grand Abolisher. Definitely a great card though.
I have also been toying with the idea of running Mana Web as it has an incredibly strong affect and harder to remove than a creature. Finding the room is super tough right now though.

Xantcha, Sleeper Agent is a super fun card and great thematically for this deck, however I think she really shines as a Commander and not as one of the 99.

Hey, now that Agitator Ant has been out for a while, how do you feel about it? I haven't run it because I rely on Solemnity a bit more, but have been curious about it since it was spoiled.

I'm loving the Ant. It puts a lot of pressure on the other players in the same way the "Tempt" spells do. It often has the effect of everyone feels like they need to utilise the counters if anyone else does. If players are slamming down strong creatures then this just makes them stronger and more comfortable with attacking.
Its in my deck's game plan to deal with massive creatures (Backlash, Deflecting Palm, Word of Seizing, as well as the number of fogs I run) but that is less likely to be the case with my opponents' decks. I think even if the creature wasn't goaded it still would discourage attacks as who wants to trade their beefy monster for a Vampire of the Dire Moon or Gifted Aetherborn?

Themesong for any guy piloting this deck: King of Pain by Sting

Love the deck. Decided to make custom proxies for the entire deck in both MPC and regular format for those interested. These are very high quality (1220dpi) extended versions of the cards a few with alternate art.

Sorry for the broken link above. I had moved the shared proxies here. They printed up nicely.

I haven't had a regular play group for a while now, so I don't have a settled meta. I do play a lot on Xmage and a little on Tabletop simulator, where the meta tends to be pretty mid range and not too cutthroat. I think I've played over 100 games on Xmage with variations of this deck and it performed consistently well.
I also do a lot of playtesting against my other two EDH decks, Kess Spellslinger and Anafenza Creature Control.

I just wanted to say "wow" at the all altered, are the cards the one we see in the spoiler? They are beautiful! From the ones I've seen my favorite is Sun Titan, the colours and the blends are just perfect.

Thanks so much! All the ones you can see are painted by myself. :)

Older - I feel like Ive mentioned this before here so forgive me if I have, but we discuss this style of Marchesa deck a lot on Discord if you ever want to pop in.
Liking the new Kaldheim update - giving me some ideas.

I'd been ignoring Velomachus Lorehold until I glanced at your latest update. I think you could gain a lot of value from him and he'd be a ton of fun to include. His full art version also looks very cool. I might have to include him.

I'm a big fan of this approach to a Marchesa deck!
Quick call out that you currently have Kardur listed twice.

Hey glad to see you are updating the list! Why remove Grand Abolisher? That card is amazing! Also, Children of Korlis can be good with Fire Covenant in case anything goes wrong.
