based off of Jon Goss' deck.

The point of this deck is to control the opponents board and make some tokens to sac to Butcher of the Horde and gain rediculous amounts of life.

T1: play a Swamp source, thoughtsieze (make a tempo pick or something you cant deal with later)

T2: Play Mountain source and maybe scry ( save the lightning strike for a tempo play)

T3: Play Plains source and maybe scry...this is were the important decisions are made based on the match up and board state. ( Brimaz, King of Oreskos Crackling Doom Hero's Downfall Anger of the Gods Goblin Rabblemaster )

T4: play any source, get the Butcher of the Horde out if you can give him haste or youre not worried of a counter or kill spell (if so fish it out with something you dont mind loseing.)

T5: any mana source, pump out Sorin, Solemn Visitor for some crazy life gain pumps, or Stormbreath Dragon for the beatdown Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker for some rediculous kamkazi swings ;)

this deck opporates on 4 mana easily so mulligan wisely and dont screw your self keeping a nutty hand thats waiting on mana...its best to have the mana and scry/shuffle for the spells.

I lost to Jeskai control variant, and a local G/R monsters chord deck.

I found myself wanting more scry and more red sources so I removed the Urborg for a temple of Triumph (lots of people running urborg so I will just wait for them to cast it for me ;) )

I've 1x anger of the gods main for my local meta ( i like to run 61 cards so no need to suggest i run 60 please)

for the side board I removed 2x suspension field and 1x magma spray for 3x banishing lights. I found myself needing to deal with enchantments and artifacts more than big creatures. The 3rd magma spray was pointless since no one is really runny weenie or aggro here.

for the missing anger of the gods I put main I added 1x Erebos, God of the Dead for the mirror match and anyone running serious lifegain.

taking it to FNM and then States on sunday so I will update then
