The flex slots are the two Mardu Charms. I chose them because they are good against the decks I was facing and somewhat versatile. The deck gains slight card advantage through k-command, goblin dark-dwellers, and obviously painful truths. The argument could be made that this is in fact a tempo deck. Often times the game plan revolves around resolving an early seeker of the way, followed by a crackling doom and hitting for 3, then following it up with key and peele, etc.
