After going to my first pre-release, I received the promo Needle Spires which looks beautiful and considered what kind of deck it could be in jokingly. I thought of Jeskai, however I think creature lands such as Needle Spires and Wandering Fumarole would be much too slow in something like your average Jeskai deck... So here is a current WIP deck. I have never really made a Mardu deck, so any comments will help alot!

Almost every creature in this deck comes with massive value. From Hangarback Walker to Thopter Engineer and even Abbot of Keral Keep give us nice value for land! Playing mardu gives us access to awesome removal such as Crackling Doom and Murderous Cut. Comboing Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury and Sorin, Solemn Visitor together is MASSIVE with our thopters. +2/+0 and lifelink on everything plus they all fly. Massive damage and massive lifesteal!

Not sure about Fiery Impulse... It only targets creatures, which is fine against aggro, but I like Wild Slash more. The issue is price and I am unsure if I want to pay that much more if it accomplishes the same thing 95% of the time.

I am frightened by Kozilek's Return since that will destroy my deck. Along with Languish... I am sideboarding Make a Stand as a way to combat these annoying cards, or at least delay the onslaught they may bring.
