Yup. I somehow did it with this surely deck in a field of meta slaves. Its was 4 rounds Swiss cut to top 8.
1st round: RW Humans (2-0)
A match up that we prey on to be honest. We've got so many removal against everything they have.
2nd round: RG monsters (1-2)
The 2 games I lost were bad mulligans. I had to mulligan to 5 on one game and to 4 in another while on the play. Other than that the match up is pretty 55/45 post board. Something to be wary of is the bristling Hydra.
3rd round: RG pummeler (2-0)
When I landed a t3 hand disruption spell and strip him of his pummeler he is basically done for. He played less hydras but more gods though.
4th round : mardu vehicles (id)
Quarterfinals: blue white spirits (2-1)
Again,another creature based match up which could have been smooth sailing if they didn't had blue. Got spell quellered a couple of times, but he's no match for our kill spells.
Semi finals: naya aetherworks (2-1)
G1 will always be very rough against marvel decks. But post board we dump in all our hate against them. Dispossess and lost legacy are key winners against them. Always try to get a hand with one. Thankfully this build of aetherworks doesn't play blue so there's nothing much to play around of.
Finals: temur aetherworks (2-1)
Ahh crap. Another one. I hate these decks. All pretty luck dependent on winning. But hey, I can't complain. The bugger spinner into nothing on G3 and I literally broke apart his deck on game 2 buy having a turn 2 Transgress into turn 3 dispossess and top it off with a lost legacy(which got countered initially, but dark dwellers get the job done the next turn)
And finally, I won. Pretty happy with the results. Made the right move on having more hate for artifacts and indestructible shenanigans.
