During a game where i took control of one of my friends commender for one turn, we noticed that you can take commander damage from your own commander. It followed that we should, of course, make a creature stealing voltron deck to kill people with their own commanders.

For the meme, it was necessary to use no creature whatsoever, even in command zone. We agreed that Gods were cheating as it said creature on the type (otherwise Thassa was probably the pick), but in turn agreed that Living Weapons should be allowed.

The grouphug thing is a meme, since we are in fact planning to buff our opponents creature (don't mind that i'm not planning to hand them back though)

I then considered my Commander options. Off the top of my head, my first two pics were Teferi, Temporal Archmage (access to blue, basically the only reason) And Daretti, Scrap Savant (scrapping equipments shenanigans, look to gamble away Conjurerer's Closet, scrap it into play, act of treason and steal?)

After looking at a list of the planeswalker commander, i finally settled on the current two partners, Jeska, Thrice Reborn + Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools Jeska is a fun politics commander than can increase the damage of stolen commanders, hand it back at the end of turn and see it attack again on our friend's turn for more tripled damage going towards our opponents (and not me). Tevesh, that i had never seen before, has inbuilt commander stealing synergy (i was already looking at ashnod's/Phyrexian altar to assassinate our friends commanders after swinging with them, so another sac outlet is nice, and the ult stealing every commander is much too good to pass up, for the meme

Since im running two planeswalker in command zones, obvious payoffs like Karn's Bastion were gonna be added, and from there probably adding some general Superfriends technology, not sure how deep into this i'll go (edit: that didn't pan out, 250 cards decks are in fact not legal)

All of this was, of course, before i found out about Dihada, Binder of Wills, which fixes a lot of issues with equipements by allowing white cards into the deck, allows sunforger, as well as keeping most of the theme intact. i therefore put the two previous partners in the 99
