Some suggestions, you should get 4 Bloodsoaked Champion these guys are strong and there ability to come back again and again is useful as. Swap the Borderland Marauder for War-Name Aspirant as their evasion ability makes them more useful. Also your 2 CMC is kinda crowded, consider some more 1 CMC creatures like Tormented Hero

I am aware of the benefit of having three more Bloodsoaked Champion, but don't currently own them.
I actually removed the War-Name Aspirant's out of the deck, as I found it more beneficial to have a have to worry about activating its raid ability in the early turns.

my recommendation with this deck is too first fix the mana game up. why just have one Bloodstained Mire when you can have 4 since they are much more solid than Bloodfell Caves and so on. secondly i would take out the Borderland Marauder and put in 3 more Bloodsoaked Champion . check also i have a similar deck that i put together you can take a look at it if you would like (i still have to update my mana pool but its still not bad as is) Oh... It's over already?

Main reason that i don't have more Bloodstained Mires and Bloodsoaked Champions is that I don't own them yet.

Also instead of Mardu Runemark you should do Spear of Heliod or Obelisk of Urd

Thanks for the suggestion xworkoutxfiendx. As soon as a Spear of Heliod is acquired the Mardu Runemark in the sideboard will be replaced

Maybe more Mardu Woe-Reaper and/or Bloodsoaked Champion instead of Borderland Marauder can do the trick, also like the Ankle Shanker, if you can get your hands on a Brutal Hordechief you can combo them to kill every creature in the battlefield. +1

Thanks for the input Babuchas3000,
If I manage to acquire more Mardu Woe-Reapers or Bloodsoaked Champions, I plan to add them to the deck. Currently, I only own the one of each.

Thanks for the +1 and taking a look at my Mardu deck, doriboncore! I think more Crackling Dooms would be a good inclusion. They are great to get around big creatures that have protection or are indestructible. +1

Stoke the Flames? seems very legit to me in this deck. 4 damage that can be flexable for how you want to pay for it. Either than that, +1

xworkoutxfiendx, I tried Mardu Hateblade but it under performed. The deck slows up, when spending the extra mana to give Mardu Hateblade deathtouch.
Cameron2394, More Crackling Dooms would be nice, but alas I currently only own the one. When more are acquired I will add a few more.

isaaace, Stoke the Flames is a great card, but Mardu Charm can burn creatures for one less mana. And most of the Warriors are to valuable to tap them for convoke cost, when they can be hitting for on average three damage when buffed by a Chief of the Scale

I suggest Obelisk of Urd, and check out my sideboard in my Mardu deck:

I like this deck.
I think that you should make some changes:1) Mardu Woe-Reaper out, one more Seeker of the Way in.2) One Chief of the Edge out, one more Battle Brawler in.3) Also, one more Mardu Hordechief will be useful. 4. Two Ride Downs out, two Crackling Dooms in.And...Finally, maybe it's better to decide between Harsh Sustenance and Wild Slash, to add a second one.
But that's just my opinion :)

i feel like this deck is pretty good (i have a mardu deck of my own) the only thing i feel like this deck needs is more consistency. you have to many ones or twos of cards instead of more of a few others.

Some of the one and two cards are on purpose, they tend to throw off opponents and keep them from effectively sideboarding, while still being synergistic with the rest of the deck.
Of course the other factor in some cases, only one or two copies of the card are currently owned.
Please feel free to +1 vote.

ehh it may help against sideboarding, but realistically even if youre playing different low mana cost cards it still essentially does the same thing regardless of what card is being played. also IMO i would remove chief of the edge because youre not really trying to defend against your opponent youre trying to rush them so other solid warriors would be more beneficial.

So u need to buy a few cards. Control decks run a lit of 2ofs for that reason. Plus lots of 2x removals allows u to hit everything.

Since you are playing quite a bit of black and white creatures I would recommend Athreos, God of Passage.
You can get creatures that were destroyed on the battlefield back to your hand, or it hits your opponent for three. One small problem is that if you have an Alesha, Who Smiles at Death on the battlefield they would be more inclined to let cards go back to your hand likeAnkle Shanker.
He also synergies well with Tymaret, the Murder King, Using his first ability, if you sacrifice a Mardu Woe-Reaper it turns into a 1R for two damage and you either get it back to your hand or it deals an extra three damage to your opponent. Just a thought though.

Definitely. Woereaper and shadowspear are awesome. I personally run bloodsoaked champion but if i were u id 4x those 2. Deck consistency is worth more than just trying to psych out your opponents when they board. Someone, i was thinking it might be u, said thats why they run 1x or 2x of several cards. Control decks run less copies of cards b.c they need variety to be effective, they have more time for the deck to stabalize and it makes for easier sideboarding but in an aggro deck like this consistency is crucial to success and more copies of staple cards in your deck is always better. Staples are cards that are locks to be in the deck. 1 drops are extremely inportant and u cant go wrong with these 2.
